A timeless Oracle steps from the smoke of her sacred chamber and opens a vision to those gathered before her—no royal court, no battlefield, but a circle of listeners gripped by her voice. Across the span of twenty songs, she carries them through the life of Alexander the Great, not as a list of deeds, but as a living journey she witnessed in the currents of fate.

She begins in Macedonia, where ambition is born in the shadow of kings and in the fierce devotion of mothers and teachers. She sings of a youth who burns toward destiny, shaped by the tensions of a fractured court and the sudden violence that thrusts him onto the throne.

The Oracle follows him across continents as his armies surge through Asia. Victories rise like pillars of fire—Granicus, Issus, Gaugamela—each a turning in the wheel of fortune. But with every triumph, she unveils the growing weight on his spirit: the unease of his commanders, the strain between old tradition and new vision, and the fragile dreams he tries to forge into a single, unified world.

Her voice darkens as she reaches the cost of glory—betrayals whispered in tents, rebellions coiled in silence, and the shattering grief of losing the companion who steadied his heart. The paths ahead narrow as his empire widens, until even the Oracle’s tone trembles with what she knows must come.

At last, she carries her listeners to Babylon, where the conqueror returns diminished, circled by shadows and sickness. She sings of a man who shaped nations yet could not halt the slow unraveling of mortality. In her final vision, she reveals that every empire—no matter how vast—fades to memory, and only the stories endure.

As her last note falls, the temple grows still. Smoke drifts upward. The vision closes. And the Oracle leaves her audience with a single truth: greatness reshapes the world, but time reshapes greatness.

The return of “Hunters in the Glen” does not begin with lightness, but with the breath of the world I sang about in the original: a wilderness where blades are sharpened, traps lurk in the ferns, and every step shifts the boundary between hunter and hunted. In my new rock ballad, I revisit this very core and translate it into a rougher, more powerful musical language.

My lyrics, with their images of sharpened blades, fleeing shadows, and wounded game, have always been imbued with tension and archaic energy. This new edition allows these motifs to emerge even more directly. The guitars carry the hardness of the blades, the bass beats like a heart in the night, and the drums trace the footsteps in the undergrowth. Each line takes on a new musical weight.

The ballad condenses the world of my original. The proud stag slipping away like a ghost in the twilight, the doe whose breath flickers, the moment when steel flashes between fern leaves — all these images carry the same urgency as before, only now they echo in a more intense, rock atmosphere. What was previously narrative tension becomes physical force here.

In the bridge moment, when the trap remains silent and the decision is made, the energy builds that only rock can carry in this form. The song doesn't just follow an old trail, it transforms it. The hunt becomes a heartbeat, the run through the shadows a call to one's own perception.

So for me, this reinterpretation is not merely a remake. It is a conversation with myself, with the history of my song. A step back into the same forest — only today I see it differently, deeper, darker, more immediate.

“Hunters in the Glen” thus becomes a renewed call into the wilderness, stronger, rougher, and closer to the heart than ever before.

Loops of Redemption is an atmospheric alternative rock track following Dr. Clarissa Kates during her year-long recovery after the influence of Melvin Orton. Altered, exhausted, and questioning her own mind, she turns inward and applies her own neuroscience of emotional addiction to herself.

Using circuitry as an analogy for the brain’s feedback loops, Clarissa breaks the pattern that once sustained both pain and illusion. The signal is cut. The loop is interrupted. In the silence that follows, healing begins.

A meditation on withdrawal, recovery, and the will to change — where nothing can pass until something new replaces it.
