Bionical is an experiment perpetrated by David Martinez (aka DJ Chena), using Techno as a means of expression.

Born in Valencia, David Martinez has extensive experience as a DJ, starting in 1991 in traveling shows where he also learned a lot about live sound and lighting. Later he had some jobs as a DJ in clubs in Valencia such as Jurassic Pub, NUX House Club, The Fly, La Hermita…

His passion for music comes from a very young age, when driven by the psychedelic fashion of the late 80s, he began to frequent discos and clubs in the area. That is where his passion for electronic music began to take shape listening to groups such as Nitzer Ebb, 16 Bit, Front 242, Invisible Limits, New Order, Vicious Pink, etc...

In the 90s, the musical scene changed drastically and the decade of dance began. The "Destroy Route" begins and DJ Chena is there to discover new sounds, more danceable and much more mixable. It is at this time that he decides to start creating his own music, not with much success, it must be said, but these were difficult times for small producers. All this helped him to develop and learn, at that time he created the group Atomic Noise with his friend Vicente Galindo.

He was co-founder of the now defunct Tecnologic Records label, with Javi Sego and Javi Sphere, trying to promote the Techno scene in Valencia.
