Also, I guess my disliking for Kanye was not ill-founded, given all the nasty stuff he's said recently. Who knows, perhaps he'll recover from his most recent bout of career-destroying comments. But, at risk of sounding cold, it's neither my business nor my concern.

I actually have an alternative version of this joke that I was planning to use - sampling the track alpha-shitlord used in their notorious post to replace the stings used in the Kanye song and preserving the Kanye vocals - but I was worried that it might be considered a bit tone-deaf given the lyrical content. So I changed the lyrics to be not the original. Problem solved?

I'm currently moving! As in, most of my things are in boxes, and I will soon be living on a mattress, and will be driving 8 hours away to a new city with some family help very soon. Yeah, that. Hence the hastily-drawn thumbnail, as well as the 5-second track. For now, this is the best I can do. I'll see what I can do about a more complete mashup next weekend, but I'd advise you to temper your expectations.

EDIT: I have currently finished moving, for now. I'll be having another move out of the place I'm in at the end of the month, but it feels good to have settled down even a little bit. Also, since the public library over here has a proper document scanner, I've updated the thumbnail to not be an image of my drawing taken in 5 seconds and barely edited.

I think this equine carcass has been sufficiently beaten. Let us abandon this worthless joke, and move onto the next.

Oh, and for anyone wondering, the move went well. Got a little complicated once we actually arrived, since our apartment was too small for our stuff and we had to rush to put things into a storage unit, but we'll only be in our current studio for a month until our more permanent apartment lease starts. Can't complain, really. I also have something more significant being cooked up for next weekend - I was debating on whether or not I should try pushing out for today, but I think it should get some more polish first.

As for the joke, this whole thing is composed of old ingredients. I made that thumbnail a long time ago for a more serious mashup about loneliness, but I never got around to making it, and I had intended to use "Why you always Lying" with "Fluffing a Duck" but while using a different joke. So it's an old concept with an old thumbnail, for a day where I really don't have anything else to post. Y'all are just going to have to put up with it, alright? No guarantee I'll have something this coming weekend either, since I'm moving again, but I'll see what I can do.

I've been around my dad a lot more recently. He's got some particular things that he...well, he kind of gets hung up on? No, that's not quite it - it's more like, certain phrases for him are inexorably linked to events or ideas in his head. I think everyone is like this, to an extent, but there are certain phrases or concepts where my dad will ALWAYS remind you of that mental link he has. It's kinda charming, but it also means that I will also suffer from the same wack-ass mental connections that he does if he mentions them enough times.

Case in point: the phrase "read my lips" and ex-american-president George Bush's claim that he would never raise or add any new taxes during his tenure as president. George made a big deal out of the "no new taxes" thing, and it was apparently one of the major parts to his platform. Surprising nobody, he did eventually have to raise taxes (though he tried not to), and basically all of his political opponents in the next presidential race made fun of him for it. The soundbyte of him saying "read my lips" at the republican national convention when pledging not to raise taxes became somewhat infamous as a result of this. And, so, my dad will always, without fail, use the same intonation if he ever says the phrase "read my lips," for any and all reasons. And now I can't help but think of it, too. Soon, you'll be infected with this knowledge as well. Isn't that just...swell?

Anyways, GHOST is a wonderful song as always. You all should check out Nelward's other songs. They aren't all to my taste, but some of them I very much enjoy. (Innuendo is wonderful, in my opinion.)

Also, I'm aware that this is not *real* content. I'm workin' on it, ok? Just been a bit occupied with personal stuff and work. I figure that uploading something is better than nothing, and I just happened to make this so I could get it out of my system. So uh, yeah. Consume my brainslop, I suppose.

The thumbnail is, of course, based on the "sbeve" meme, although the inspiration was specifically an Omori-related take on the meme. You remember Omori? That quirky indie RPG that UNDERTALE'd itself in terms of its community? Yeah, I was briefly curious about it, and in my content binge I came across a format like what you see in the thumbnail (replace me with Sunny, bald guy with Aubrey, and the lady with the stupid boy character). Regarding the thumbnail: please keep in mind that this is all for japes, lets not have any heated political discussions in the comments, mmkay? It ain't worth your time or mine.

Just somebody that posts whatever terrible jokes come to mind. Sometimes I'll post original work, but expect mashups and memes for the most part.

I'm doing my best to limit my internet usage, so I probably won't be here too often, but I'll try to respond to any messages I get when I get around to it.

Unless stated otherwise, all thumbnails and art on my profile (excluding reposts, of course) are my own work. Ballpoint pens, pencils, Sharpie markers, a good eraser, paper, and patience are my tools, and they've served me well. (There's also a bit of digital touch-up after scanning the drawings in, but that's less interesting to talk about.)
