Created using an old 1968 Audio Generator/radio test equipment, & Theremin. 

A homage to the old 1950's/60's Science Fiction films, the Forbidden Planet score for example, by Louis and Bebe Baron.

The Moon Miranda is named after a personae from Shakespeare's last play The Tempest. Usually Planets/Moons are named after characters in Greek Mythos.
The Tempest was the basic plot for Forbidden Plant movie. 

So, the audio generator/radio test equipment seemed appropriate. 
The loose idea being radio signals use Ariel's (also a personae from the Tempest) to broadcast and receive signals. Miranda like many planets were detected using 'Radio'
