SOULMEEX is a platform launched in December 2022 out of a passion for high quality electronic music and beyond.

A passion often tough to turn into success for those individuals playing amazing music but almost privately for reasons which may vary from not being into music production (or recently got into), not having contacts in the industry or counting with zero financial support to host a gig in their cities.

They might even come from countries, ethnic groups or social/cultural backgrounds where electronic music is not widely extended making things even harder.

OUR MISSION therefore is to showcase in a very special and unique website all this talent we strongly believe deserves to be heard.

Hjärngymnastik is a cratedigger project which aims to dig up and play electronic music released prior to the year 2000.  Styles such as Detroit Techno, IDM, Acid, Electro, Ambient, Bleep, Breakbeat, Jungle, New Beat, Deep House and many neighbouring styles will be heard in these sets.

Each sunday I'll be posting an hour of my selections. Some episodes will include guest mixes from excellent contributors - DJs, producers, record collectors and music enthusiasts. Within the same episode, the guest mix will be heard first followed by mine. A random drawing of brains conducting some kind of suspicious activity will of course accompany the set.

Let me know if you'd be interested in participating. There's always room for guests who can contribute with knowledge and interesting selections.
