Eduardo Caeiro Chaves, originally from Rio de Janeiro, is the name behind the pseudonym DVKA. 

Always seeking good connections, he learned and evolved with each contact, and continues to learn; a fact that can be observed in his journey as a producer, musician, friend, and thinker.

Before finding himself in music, he wandered through various other activities, from athlete and YouTuber to medical student.

His true calling had not yet been found until then.

A producer of electronic music since 2020, he began his studies during the pandemic, alongside DJ practice, after choosing to leave university.

With great effort, today, he has his own studio; a wealth of knowledge accumulated over the years; scheduled releases on several labels; and support from many great artist friends, DVKA feels more certain than ever about his path.

Currently, he aims to present his projects to the world and continue to evolve in the realm of electronic music.

With a raw and urban aesthetic, his style moves between Tech House and Minimal House, blending tribal percussion, spacious basslines, digital textures and spoken-word elements full of attitude.

Las Heras has released on Mood Child, Loulou Records, Material Series, Lapsus Music, Aura, Delicious Rebels, Kolme, Safe Music, Habitat, Mr. Carter, and his own L90’s Records, with upcoming EPs signed to Snatch!, Kobbok Limited and Arritmia.

His breakout track “LOCO” (Mood Child) became a hit supported by Sirus Hood and Manda Moor, was pressed on vinyl (Various Moods Vol. 4), and reached the Top 30 on Beatport.
Soon after, he released “House Music” on Loulou Records, featured on the same V.A. as Loulou Players, who also supported the track.
Most recently, Michael Bibi played his tune “Mr. Sandman” in Ibiza during the Solid Grooves after-party, marking one of the biggest moments in his journey so far.

Supported by Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Nic Fanciulli, Paco Osuna, Chelina Manuhutu, Dateless, Stefano Noferini, Renato Ratier, Blond:ish, Riva Starr, Darius Syrossian, Gordo and many others, Las Heras stands out as one of Brazil’s most promising underground exports.
