'Turkish duo AVAM again at Polyptych. After their successful start with the single "Sahara" as part of the Pentaptych compilation series, as well as visits to Cafe De Anatolia and Journey of the Soul, AVAM returns to us presenting their new two-track release "Orbit". The title track features vibrant harmonies, captivating ethnic vocals, and an incredibly emotional narrative, while the B-Side track "System" takes on the atmospheric and deep side of the sound, plunging into a fantastic trip. The release was supported with remixes by Rockka, Zairi Torrez, and Santiago Rossi, already familiar to Polyptych fans, perfectly complementing the release with their unique vibe and vision.

Öncelikle tüm samimiyetimizle, oruç ibadeti özelinde şu soruyu cevaplamaya çalışalım: Kendi
oruçlarımıza ve çevremizdekilerin oruçlarına baktığımızda, “Oruç ibadeti; gerçekten manevî
dünyamızda bize muazzam tecrübeler yaşatıyor, ahlâkımızı en yüksek seviyede güzelleştiriyor,
nefsimizi terbiye etme noktasında bize çok büyük imkânlar sağlıyor.” diyebiliyor muyuz?
Diyebiliyorsak, sorun yok. Diyemiyorsak, bunun sebepleri üzerinde düşünmemiz gerekmez mi?
Kompleks bir varlık olan insanoğlunun eylemlerinin arka planını, tercihlerinde ve
yönelimlerindeki temel sâikleri tek bir sebeple açıklayıvermek kolaycılık olacaktır. Dolayısıyla oruç
ibadetinden lâyıkıyla manevî feyiz elde edemeyişimizin, onu bir nefs terbiyesi aracı haline yeterince
getiremeyişimizin bütün sorumluluğunu fıkıh ilminin tahakkümüne ve fakihlere yüklemek, elbette
insaflı olmayacaktır. Ancak meselenin, bir cihetten önemli ölçüde “din dilinin fıkıh dili hâline
dönüşmesiyle” alâkalı olduğu da yadsınamaz bir hakikattir.
Şöyle ki; dindarlığın özü, insanın Yüce Yaratan ile arasında kurduğu muhabbet bağıdır. Bu bağ
ne kadar sağlamsa, dindarlık da o kadar sağlıklıdır. İslâm dininin öğretilerini, kul ile Allah arasındaki
ilişkiyi, Müslümanın toplum içindeki vazife ve sorumluluklarını, zaman içerisinde çeşitli disiplinler
kendilerine has bir dil ve yöntemle ele almışlardır. Bu konuda fıkıh ve tasavvuf, en önemli iki disiplin
olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Meseleleri ele alış yöntemleri ve kullandıkları dil, birbirlerinden oldukça
farklıdır. Aslında sahaları farklı olduğu için; bunları, birbirlerinin alternatifi olarak değil, tamamlayıcı
parçaları olarak düşünmek gerekir. Ezcümle; Fıkıh hukuktur, tasavvuf ahlâk. Fıkıh korkutur, tasavvuf
sevdirir. Fıkıh zâhirî kuralı koyar, tasavvuf muhabbet bağı kurar. Şu halde, insanlara yalnız
hukuku/fıkhı verir, ahlâkı/tasavvufu vermezseniz, aslında araç olan kuralı ve şekli, amaç haline
getirmiş olursunuz. Yalnız hükmü öğretir, o hükmün hikmetini öğretmezseniz, hikmetsiz bir dindarlık
üretmiş olursunuz.

AVAM was founded in late 2022 by Turkish producers Canberk Tosun and Huseyin Onen. 

Canberk Tosun was born in Istanbul - Turkey on the 17th of October 1998. When he was 8 years old, he started to play guitar and he met with the music. Since that day music has been playing a significant role in his life. He was a really fan of rock music and he performed too many times at gigs with his band as a lead guitarist, but when he met with House Music everything has been changed and he decided to turn himself to House Music. House music really impressed him. Thus, he started his dj & producer career and started to produce his own musics. 

Huseyin Onen was born in June 1988. When he was a little boy, he started to be Dj in the radio station which is owned by his family. In the first place he did production, later ; He made some radio shows he studied Music at High School and University. After his graduation, he worked as a Dj in the most famous and classy night clubs of Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya. When it was 2017, they've found the Sin Records Company with Volkan Uca and started to publish House and World Music singles and tracks.

Dennis Frost is a DJ, producer, and teacher at the Pro Stereo school, known for his performances across Asia and Europe. Over his 17-year career, he has gained unique international experience and developed a recognizable sound, performing at clubs and festivals in Russia, Germany, Spain, Thailand, and India. For the past 8 years, he has been living in Moscow, playing at venues such as Ketch Up, Arma (Mutabor), Noor, Treff8, Gazgolder, Gipsy, and the Skazka Festival.

He spent six years in Thailand, where he honed his craft, drawing inspiration from local culture and the electronic music scene. Glow, Bed, the Sramanora festival, Mustache, Ku De Ta, and the sky bars of hotels like Marriot, Sofitel, and Radisson are just a few of the projects where he performed starting in 2010, traveling between Bangkok, Pattaya, and Koh Phangan.

In 2020, as part of Orbita Project, he played in Goa at venues such as Raeeth, Mirage, 11:11, Romeo Lane, Soro, Living Room, and the Sinq Beach festival. During this time, Dennis Frost introduced a new alias, Boho Nativo with ethnic organic and progressive house music. Meanwhile, the name Dennis Frost continues to represent tech house and minimal genres.

Dennis actively shares his knowledge and experience through educational videos on the Pro Stereo channel, where he explains the intricacies of DJing and hybrid live performances. In 2024, he launched an interview series where he and guest musicians discuss current topics in the club scene. In his sets, you’re sure to hear familiar music, but each time, it will sound unique.
