Throughout 2024, Indira Paganotto’s game-changing label, ARTCORE Records dominated the electronic dance landscape. Aside from a trio of ground-breaking 2-part VAs plus numerous singles and EPs to further establish ARTCORE as a leading force in contemporary techno, the Psy-mama also took the label around the globe selling out shows across Europe, South America and Asia.

The monumental output of music ARTCORE has delivered since launching in 2022 is nothing short of astounding - and 2025 looks to be no different. For the first release of the new year, they venture into new territory, with a double EP format, from two different artists. Calling back Mexico’s Interactive Noise, after he released a collaboration EP ‘Dissociaxion’ in 2023, and his single ‘Ninja World’ on their OFF Sonar VA in 2024, merged with a single from ARTCORE newbies, the Brazilian duo Avan7 & Becker.

Interactive Noise opens the EP with ‘Tokyo Core’ it comes with a wave of trance-imfused bass stabs, orchestral fills, and ominous pads, to cultivate a moody yet euphoric atmosphere full of tension that grows with intensity as the beat develops.

Avan7 & Becker’s ARTCORE debut with ‘Meru’ kicks off with a rasping, guttural vocal sample reminiscent of an Aboriginal call. When the beat begins to rumble by way of fierce grooves and metallic synths, there’s a glorious clash of aesthetics when the tribal-like ambience felt at the offset is met head-on by ethereal melodics and cosmic, fast-paced percussion.

To round off the EP, Interactive Noise returns with ‘Warrior Inside Me’ which leads with an anime vocal sample in which the rhythm snugly intwines around. Climactic and stirring from the off, the melody melds galloping percussive elements and laser-strobe shots with marching string arrangements to close the release in a truly epic manner.

Francisco Lima is the brilliant mind behind the Avan7 project. The artist released his first productions in 2018 and, since then, has gained the respect of major producers and top-tier events. He is currently recognized as one of the fastest-rising psytrance artists in the world. His solid and original work, combined with his young age, makes the project a bridge between older and younger generations of psychedelia lovers. For this reason, he has been featured in the lineups of major festivals such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Boomtown, and many others.

The artist currently maintains a busy schedule in Brazil and around the world. Last year, he embarked on two international tours, visiting more than 10 countries. Additionally, he is in high demand at Brazil’s biggest national events, including Sonoora, Hipnotica, Playground, Lockdown, Mandallah, Progressive, Bug Open Air, Euphoria, Boombay, Equilibrium, Insônia, Transpiration, and more.

Avan7's music has gained the support of some of the biggest names in the industry, with his tracks frequently played by Ace Ventura, Indira Paganotto, Raja Ram, and Astrix. He maintains a direct network with these artists and ensures at least one release per year on their labels.

Avan7 also has a very strong connection with his fans, boasting one of the largest fan bases in Brazilian psytrance. He stays in direct contact with his followers on social media, and his dedicated fans frequently travel across the country to see him perform.

The artist has reached the #1 spot on Beatport’s sales charts five times. In 2023, his album Digital Immortality reached the #1 spot in releases and was also considered the best album of the year, solidifying his presence in the international market. Currently, Avan7 is collaborating on sets with Mad Maxx, with whom he is working on a joint album and preparing numerous new releases for 2025.

In 2022, Indira Paganotto established ARTCORE with a clear vision in mind. The primary aim behind creating this label was to acknowledge and elevate the unique sound associated with Indira, which, until then, had not found a suitable representation in any existing label. It's widely recognized that this distinctive sound has been gaining rapid popularity and is finally receiving the recognition it rightfully deserves.

However, it's essential to note that ARTCORE will not be confined to a single genre. Instead, the emphasis will be on preserving authenticity and ensuring high-quality musical output. The label will serve as a platform that celebrates artistic expression, relevance, and musical heritage. Also, ARTCORE enables the opportunity for artists to be mentored directly by Indira is at the core of ARTCORE.

Mutant Disco Records is the new home for Ace Ventura's musical visions. Beyond being a successful musician, Yoni Oshrat is a multifaceted DJ who can play any style of music and has been, since childhood, an avid music collector with a diverse taste. He plans to channel all that into the new label, which will focus on Psytrance, but will give space and promote all music he finds inspiring. Prepare to have your ears mutated, coming your way in 2025!

Multi-genre underground DJ 🧙‍♂️

Roxby started out as a bedroom DJ in 2014 playing at house parties and small events, predominantly playing UKG and Bassline. Towards the end of 2018 he got his first club booking and has played in and around Bournemouth supporting many respected DJs and Artists in the Drum and Bass / Jungle scene. Towards the end of 2019 he started getting into the Free Party scene and fell in love with the diverse range of sounds. He now prides himself in being a Multi-genre DJ playing riddims across the board.
