BIOGRAPHY

It all started in Kiel, a small city in northern Germany. Here is where Fritz Wagner and Marc Wolf met and from where their musical journey as Avidus started. First steps where made on the own imprint established 2014 named EMPORE from where their music managed to get the attention of the scenes renowned heavyweights like Damian Lazarus, Tale Of Us, Fur Coat and many more. With releases on labels such as Oddity, Crosstown Rebels, Hommage or Afterlife they already left a mark and they’re now keen to tell the whole story. Major influences for their music emerge from their duality:
While both unite as instrumentalists, their approaches to search and experiment in jams differ significantly: 

Marc, being the designated and longstanding DJ, not only draws inspiration from the dancefloor but also from his self - taught experiences as a drummer and guitarist; 

Fritz, as an autodidact of piano and the sound - engineer of the bunch is eagerly improving his skills in the studio. That’s where they combine both worlds, working on new Avidus material whenever they can. Within their growing EMPORE family, they try to keep doing what they do and not to loose the
standards they’ve had since day one.

Manu of G is a Spanish DJ with a deeply defined sound identity rooted in Melodic Techno, Progressive, and Organic House. His sets are carefully curated journeys where each track and transition blends organically, creating immersive narratives that flow between introspection and emotional peaks.

Known for his refined mixing technique and attention to sonic detail—tonal balance, spatial image, and subtle effects—Manu crafts experiences that resonate on both the dancefloor and in the mind. Trained as a guitarist, Eric Tchekhoff first honed his musical skills playing in caravans with Gypsies.

 At the age of fifteen, he was already roaming at Folies Pigalle on Wednesdays, Rex Club on Thursdays, Jazz bars and trailers on weekends, under the caring protection of Marcel Campion and the descendants of Django Reinhardt. 

From his experiences with Gypsies, he earned a sense of freedom and a keen ear for improvisation across all genres of music.
While Eric's DJ sets and productions primarily feature electronic music, he consistently infuse them with strings, brass, or eclectic sounds that strengthen his cinematic and surprising universe. 

It becomes his signature: « A Dialogue between the Beat and the Vibe » !

It's the place where the essential finds its expression, where space and time vibrate in harmony, where souls and bodies sing and dance their inexpressible truth.

Throughout his life, he has been seeking for the unexpected, the improbable and thirsting for new sounds and emotions. 
From meditation to celebration, from the most refined classical music to raw techno, from the intimacy of a Gypsy jazz bar to the fury of massive electro clubs around the world, Eric seeks and finds. 

That’s why today, it is so natural to find him behind his turntables with his guitar, sharing his boundless love for what we vaguely refer to as music, vibration, celebration or simply: Life.

Like a guitar by a campfire, a requiem in times of sorrow, a Jazz tune under the pouring rain, a 360° drift on the rond-point des Champs-Élysées at 5am or a love story during bedtime.

Obsessed by sounds, each of his notes is carefully thought out, cherished, loved, and embodied.  Everything is there, but only if it’s shared.
