We are very excited to share the debut mix from Berlin-based Faknah. ⁣⁣

This recording is a testament to Faknah's approach to digging and selecting records, one that feels both deeply authentic and fresh. What begins as a downtempo idea morphs into a hypnotic, hard-to-pin-down trip with hip-hop touches and an abundance of chug. ⁣⁣

The way is paved of mostly B sides and 45s, unapologetically slowed to 33 and arranged with beautiful restraint. ⁣

Vampire Werewolf is the dark fusion of husband-wife duo Devil Boy (Lil Pac) and Asiatic Ivy—a raw blend of rap disses, sadcore truths, and experimental underground sound straight from the edge. Our music feels like the ghosts of vintage internet rappers whose best tracks got buried by label politics or vanished in the algorithm... but we’re not going anywhere. We're still here, still howling, still biting.

Raised in dangerous hoods, both Devil Boy and Ivy earned recognition and notoriety young—hailed for their words, not their looks. Critics can call us dumb, but the streets, the pen, and the mic say otherwise.

Devil Boy also runs Dark Lightworker Ra on YouTube, diving into trippy conspiracies and spiritual warzones, and cuts cult-classic fan edits through Nightwing Productions.

This is Vampire Werewolf. Ugly truths. Beautiful pain. Chaos that sticks.
Blood in the ink. Soul in the sound.

P.S It should also be noted that Devil Boy and Asiatic Ivy had quite the success as mere teenagers. Asiatic Ivy was a fanatical radical for the planet among other causes, and helped make things like recycling what they are today. Devil Boy as a student was hailed by the United Nation's, (with a few select other students) for raising money for a number of causes, they raised money for what they wrote about, everything from the war at the time, woman's rights, poverty, children that don't fit in, and building schools in underdeveloped countries. Later on as young as a man can be, he was asked by his pagan friends to join in on a United Nations tellathon of both poetry and music, to help raise money for a Pagan Acceptance Project.
