In the music of Gula, all phrases, proportions and melodies are mapped and based on the golden ratio and on the Fibonacci sequence. The gameplay music is in the key of F, tempo is 112.3 bpm and lasts 1.6 minutes. In the menu music, the chord progression length grows in Fibonacci sequence and lasting 0.6 minutes.

I'm happy to share my Coma Dose Sunrise Set from Deep Roots Festival last month. Had an awesome time at my first Deep Roots, connected with some great artists and heard some of the best bass music a guy could ask for.

This is my second live Coma Dose festival sunrise set and it's been a real treat getting to take this project to the bass bins after so many years. I tried to keep it mostly fresh with a few classics from the previous mixes and just enough energy to keep everyone vibing into the morning 🌞 Hope y'all enjoy these beats on your next festival road trip! 🤘

Process notes - 

In Nov 2020, I started a video series that was mostly small electronic instruments and guitar pedals filmed from above. When I first started the series, I recorded a few test takes and I decided to use one of these as the basis for an entire album I plan to release this year and currently is in progress. This one was (probably) a Korg Volca FM, an old Electro-Harmonix Microsynth & a TC Electronic Nova.

Besides this recording, I also will use different synths to layer onto the original recording. For this piece, I am using some wavetable-layered-samples (as kicks, more or less), the Cherry Audio Chroma and the Arturia Mini. Each one of these I generally increased the resolution/speed of short midi phrases I wrote. This broke down some of the effects I had and did a few nutty things but I really liked how it fit right into the piece.

There was a sweet accident of feedback in the DAW that I captured and layered on near the end, too.

But it wasn't long before Doyle expanded his horizons to include Funk, House, Hip-Hop and Bass, all with his soulful West Coast flavour. He quickly became a staple in the BC electronic music scene, known not only for his multi-genre sets but his range of recorded mixes as well.

Over the past 10 years, Mt.
