As an 18year old youngster, Mikey Biemans gets more and more interested in music and starts to develop his DJ skills. In the following years he already plays at Mysteryland, Extrema Outdoor, Solar Weekend and more. Classic House is his main sound, but he loves to put in some good disco and rhythms for the mixture. His mission is to create good vibes on the dancefloor. After years of DJing Mikey played across The Netherlands. We Are Electric, late Trouw, Amsterdam Open Air and Thuishaven, are just a few to name. His thriving sound will make you move for sure. Find yourself always surprised, never disappointed.

MIKA SNICKARS
- DJ, Producer and Founder of the "Snickars Records" vinyl record shop est 1995.

Born and raised in a Northern suburb of Stockholm, Sweden.

Started DJing in 3rd grade at School Discos and community youth centers.

Early influences were dad's Jazz record collection, his older sisters reggae and disco cassettes and local radio shows like Brother Memos "Funk Department", Rinkeby International, FMAK, Disco 91 to name a few.

Mikas DJ style originates from Hip-Hop and has developed throughout the years by
working many different type of crowds.

Genre wise, Mika has been working with both Hip-Hop and Dance as well as the current retro scenes - Disco, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Afro, Balearic etc.

Was involved in the Early Rave scene in Stockholm and have had numerous resident nights since.
In his strive to touch up his DJ skills, Mika has participated in the DMC Swedish DJ championships which he finally won in 1998.

During 1995-2000 he was touring with his Turntablist crew- Scratchaholics.

Mika has been involved in some local music productions and also did re-edits for Finnish Record Labels - Lifesaver and Sähkö Recordings.

Recently, Mika has been putting out edits on his own acetate imprints.
Mika Snickars is a recurrent name in the Scandinavian nightlife.

Current direction for Mika is to go deeper and explore more music both new and old.

Mika is also the second half of Svenska Disco Kyrkan.

Svenska Disco Kyrkan is DJ Mika Snickars & Kool DJ Dust, a DJ/producer duo from Stockholm, Sweden.
