"BIG CHAN”, is a Hip-Hop/R&B artist & songwriter from New Bedford, Massachusetts. Chan has been writing songs since she was 8 years old. Music has always played a huge role in her life and she decided to take music more seriously in 2016; recording her first Soundcloud track. Chan realized that this was her passion. Since then, she released 3 mixtapes ("Storiez", “Versatile Dre”, & “Versatile Dre II”) and continues to release singles today. She has collaborated on songs with many local artists and is now writing locally for other artists. BIG CHAN’s upcoming debut album, “Heartbreak Chan” is coming in March 2025! This project is a 9 song album called She Says I’m Boring. The album consist of heartbreak inspired material based on a previous relationship that ended hard for me. This would actually be classified as my first debut album. She Says I’m Boring contains samples from everything that I was feeling at that time. You will even get the chance to hear some lyrical expression from myself as well. What makes this project so unique and fragile is the fact that I am able to compress that particular story of feelings and emotions packaged into 9 relative songs that all attain significant meaning and vibration, and then, release it (for good). It would be considered a valuable form of letting go and moving forward. Although, there are 9 tracks on the album, there will be a deluxe edition with more than 9 songs. This extended version, will be an absolute rarity because there will only be one issue. The one and only issue is already preassigned to someone none other than her. These hidden songs will never be released on my end. The album is set to be released on December 31, 2015.
