Latin underground DJ/producer Sinego returns with a driving, late-night rework of Eli Fola’s ‘Back To The Basics’, the title track from Fola’s recent EP. Out 5th December via progressive tastemaker label HE.SHE.THEY., ‘Back To The Basics (Sinego Remix)’ sees the Bogotá-born artist pull the original into a darker, sweat-soaked realm - one built on rolling percussion, shadowy atmospheres, and the hypnotic pulse of his club-rooted sound.
Pushing Fola’s vocal mantra through a deeper, more ritualistic lens, Sinego locks into a percussive groove that feels both ancestral and future-facing. It’s a peak-hour weapon shaped for strobe-lit rooms, where his signature blend of Latin rhythms and techno-leaning intensity hits with full force.
The result is a remix that pays respect to the spirit of the original while carving out its own lane - raw, transportive and unmistakably Sinego.

“I have been a very big fan of Eli Fola since I saw him in Miami performing on a tigre sounds show. It really impressed me how he was able to mix that NYC house sound with organic drum instruments. For this remix I wanted to mix the rough and dark energy of HE.SHE.THEY. with the syncopated style of Eli, thus percussion is so important in it. I think this will play very well on sweaty dance floors around the world”
