Born to Azorean immigrants — a housekeeper mother and a construction worker father — Ricky grew up in a home marked by alcohol abuse and violence. Kicked out of school at 16. Stabbed at 18. In and out of court for petty crimes. Music didn’t save him — it gave him something to fight back with.

Inspired by N.W.A., he started producing in 2004 and writing seriously in 2013. Now a father and husband, Ricky channels his past into sharp bars and gritty production that bleeds truth.
