Korean-Canadian producer Hyunji-A returns to TOR, continuing to cement her bespoke sound, which highlights enticing and emotive grooves. Following her delightful duo on the Ticking Clock EP, Hyunji-A is back to soundtrack the summer with her second offering on TOR - the Stars & Satellites EP.

On the A-side, Stars & Satellites opens with crisp drum programming and floating hooks, before a sharp kick & rhythmic percussions open to a bountiful bassline. His musical works since 2006 includes escapades on Prins Thomas's ́Full Pupp ́, indie label ́Smalltown Supersound ́, minimal house label ́Kindisch ́ and the legendary norwegian space house label ́Luna Flicks ́. His three superb album releases and remixes of indie acts such as Metronomy and The XX has certainly made his mark on the scene, always led by his complex, weird and wonderful take on club music; melodic and cinematic, but always with house clubs in mind. Diskjokke has played everywhere from Panoramabar Berlin to Space Ibiza and Liquid Room Tokyo.

Hear no evil ́ is an electro funk house banger, where tention is drawn from minimal dub disco randomness, heavy on the 2 ́s and 4 ́s, to the reliefng melodic patterns that makes the classic Diskjokke-sound. Dubbed out disco house from planets yet to be found. 

This EP brings a completely new take on club music, although honouring its inspirations from funk, disco, dub and house in its finest ways.

Not to hot, not to cold, a perfectly tempered collaboration between mexican live artist Picotropico and nordic soul Vinny Villbass. Together they have created two magical club tracks that operate in slightly different directions, but both truthful to the warm analog sound characteristic to badabing diskos.

 Mexican Winter ́ shows a funky landscape with hints of ska thru rhythmic upstrokes and dubby analog percussion. The analog synths circulate the groove with hypnotic and psychedelic modulation.

OsloClubCast was initiated by Vinny Villbass in 2012 to promote the emerging club scene of the norwegian capitol. Every week, the clubs of Oslo sent resident dj´s to record their sets at the tiny venue Turkish Delight (RIP). The response, both live and online was massive!

Since then, OsloClubCast has been hosting recordings at festival stages and different Oslo venues, focusing on both legendary and fresh talents, spreading the essence of the norwegian sound.
