The DJ before us was playing downtempo stuff so we had to start the set pretty slow. Feeling the amazing hands-up energy in the room, we released the tension and brought the floor to another dimension. It was a true blessing to see all those beautiful ravers from around the world coming together in peace and extasy, raising their hands in the air. What could be better than to drive this set home with a true classic by our friends from Scooter? Nothing!

Ballaboys were founded in Rotterdam after a 72-hour-long afterhour and a heavy listening session of all existing Thunderdome compilations (except Vol. 147). Their musical vision focusses on the genre of "Hands-Up Rave Music" typified by a very fast tempo (usually around 150–190 BPM), often coupled with stupid vocals or senseless lyrics and sprinkles of trance and rave. Its characteristically 4/4 beat happy and uplifting sound distinguishes it from most other forms of techno and hardcore, which tend to be darker. They are signed on the label "Earplugs Are For Kids".
