Dans cet épisode de Profil Ludique, nous plongeons au cœur du jeu Bastion (Supergiant Games, 2011), un action-RPG éclatant où le joueur incarne Kid, un survivant explorant les ruines d’une civilisation perdue. Guidé par la voix omniprésente d’un narrateur énigmatique, le jeu construit une expérience narrative singulière jusqu’à sa conclusion.  Appuyé sur le cadre théorique développé par Michelle Herte dans son ouvrage Forms and Functions of Endings in Narrative Digital Games (2021), cet épisode aborde à la notion de "finale" dans les jeux vidéo du point de vue de la narratologie transmédiale. Le concept de « signaux de clôture » est utilisé pour analyser le déploiement de la finale du jeu Bastion, en étudiant notamment les déclencheurs de finale, les tropes du climax ludique, les stratégies de dénouement narratif et les marqueurs extradiégétiques de conclusion. Il en résulte une réflexion approfondie sur les mécanismes ludo-narratifs qui forment les rouages de la narration vidéoludique et sculptent le sens de l’expérience globale jusqu’à la dernière image.

Always loving a good groove, many years on the wheels of steel. I have a degree in audio engineering, so I produce, remix and write tracks as well. Ihr für Würzburg einzigartig melodischer Sound - stets zwischen House und Techno - bescherte Ihnen auch gleich Bookings in der Rakete Nürnberg, dem Airport Würzburg, dem Haus 33 Nürnberg, Wilde Hilde Coburg, bei der Lola in Hof, bei der Schattenpiraten Bootscruise Würzburg und vielen mehr. Sie waren also schon ziemlich überall im Frankenland zugange.
