“Inferno (extended cut)” is a cinematic descent into a modern hell — inspired by Dante’s Inferno and the apocalyptic dread of the present day. Blending atmospheric guitars, spoken-word fragments, and a slow build into total collapse, the track imagines a world where climate disaster, war, and power imbalance have pushed us beyond hope. A warning and a requiem: abandon hope, or change course.

“In the Channel of a Hate Crime” is a frantic instrumental depicting the chaos and cruelty of Britain’s anti-migration rhetoric. Built around a riff inspired by In the Hall of the Mountain King and the manic energy of Danny Elfman’s Beetlejuice soundtrack, it accelerates from order into panic — a cartoonish descent into hysteria. No lyrics, just tension: fear rising, compassion sinking, and the noise of hate drowning out humanity.

Nicky Roulé is an artist with a genuine passion for crafting music that strikes an emotional chord and takes listeners somewhere - both physically on the dance-floor and emotionally in their own world. Growing up in a family of classical musicians and music teachers, Nicky was immersed in layers of harmony, movement and musical storytelling from the very beginning.

In the late 90’s he discovered dance music and became captivated by the intensity, atmosphere and escapism of that era. Those roots now blend with a modern, cinematic edge to create what he calls cinematic dance music - a sound built from techno, electronica, trance-inspired emotion, anthemic club energy and progressive house. Chase Water has been DJing since the age of 15, mastering the art of vinyl and scratch DJing before breaking into the hardcore scene in his early 20s under the alias Paul Manx. With weekly bookings across the UK, he is no stranger to the club environment.

In 2010, Paul co-founded the event "Core Blimey" with a few close friends, quickly establishing it as one of the leading UK hardcore events.

After leaving Core Blimey in 2016 to explore new opportunities, Chase Water set up Tempo DJ Tutorial, fostering some of Stoke-on-Trent's finest DJs and successful promoters.

In 2024, he decided to do less 'Hardcore' gigs to focus on his Chase Water brand and music production crossing over various genres from House to Hard Dance and beyond. With tracks supported by BBC Introducing, the next chapter is set to unfold!
