A bonus mini-episode this week from our Midnight Mastermind guest spot on BBC Radio 2 in the UK. It’s a nightly segment on OJ Borg’s show where random guests quiz him on their expert topic. We were honoured their producers contacted us for some questions on country music and had a fun time doing it. Turns out OJ loves cowboy hats as much as Andrew and we pioneered an all-too-nice Canadian scoring system! 

Just a note that BBC Radio of course had the clearance for the music that was played for the research portion, and for the George Strait song that played us out, but our podcast does not. So we did our best to cut the songs from the podcast without ruining the conversation over top.

Not the way to end 2024, particularly on New Year's Eve, with the death another radio legend, this time being Johnnie Walker.

Kit is also in the process of crafting a new pop record entitled, "Human," which delves into his journey as a young queer man in the UK, exploring themes of adversity, resilience, and love. Produced by Adam Rust (MNEK, Becky Hill), this album promises to be a deeply personal and impactful release in 2026.

As for his songwriting & publishing journey,
He recently joined the Artist Tribe camp in Berlin & penned many songs with the greats in dance music. Kit also attended the biggest writing camp in the world in NYC, the Anti Social Camp featuring Jacob Collier, continuing his journey of collaboration and innovation.

I have written music & signed deals with major music publishers Fairwood & Sesac, Pitch Play, Galactic, Sentric, Tileyard Music.

Kit has a thriving Sync career with his music on several shows on ITV including Abbey Clancey’s Celebrity Homes, Dress To Impress & on Channel 4, A Place In The Sun with the amazing sync company Bspoke. He has just signed 2 tracks to the Cavendish roster.

Kit’s songwriting prowess is further highlighted by his success with his creative song writing Kamps, of which he has run 9 with his label KAR Records, which brings together hundreds of writers and producers to write for a variety of publishing opportunities. His role as a council member for the Ivors Academy LGBTQIA+ underscores his influence in the industry.

As a skilled violinist, Kit has toured with Leddra Chapman & Toploader supporting Ed Sheeran, Tom Jones, Beverly Knight & played many a festival across the UK & Europe.
