I wanted to do a pt. 2 of my break-mix "Rock Steady B-Boy Shit" from almost ten years ago - also since I feel the scene has changed a lot since - both for the breakers, but also for the DJ's. This time it's 91 tracks mixed across 134 minutes of funky vibes.

A mix of classic and newer breaks, DJ-edits and reworks and a little bit of hiphop from around the world. A bit of classics and well-known, but also many tracks that don't usually get played at battles or break-events.

Started with a crate of 980 song plus all the ones I have on vinyl and cut it down to these 91 tracks mixed together for a continuous groovy mix.

He is a winner of Wax Poetics x Polaroid's and Reloop's international mixtape contests and is known for his extensive vinyl collection and cratediggin passion, which he shares on his Instagram page @nyboesvinyler

DJ Quantum, is an artist and performer based out of San Jose, CA. He has been energizing street dance events, nightclubs, and global venues since 1997. 

Having had an affinity to b-boying at an early age, Quantum took his understanding of deep grooves and funky breaks and applied that same dance aesthetic towards his skills on the “ones and twos”. 

From making breakbeat mixes to playing at late night studio sessions for dancers, Quantum’s humble beginnings helped lead him towards a career beyond the Bay Area for sharing his vision of the global beat. 

His diverse selection in music and eclectic style of mixing and scratching has landed him an array of gigs, and he has shared the stage opening up for artists such as EPMD, Crazy Legs, D-Styles, Zion I, Q-bert, and Tuxedo just to name a few.

He is a passionate music lover and a  vinyl collector. Being in love with good music he tries to keep up with the latest music trends while tracking down old music diamonds. For his DJ sets he chooses everything good.

In 2016, I started DJing seriously and now participate in some B-Boy Battles as a Break DJ.
I'm especially interested in Soul, Funk, Disco, Rock and Hip-Hop which are possible to be used as B-Boy Breaks.
Also I'm diggin' some Japanese Songs in 1960's to 1980's since I wanna tell you that Japan has a lot of Funky music!!

B-Boy since 2000, introduced to Breaking and Popping by Mr. X (Rapid Soul Moves Crew/Italy). Started battling around 2002 and co-founded Kebab Flava Crew in 2008. Fell in love with DJing in 2011, inspired by legends like Roc Raida and Lean Rock. I began spinning at dance events across Europe and made my way to New York (2013–14), eventually joining the Bronx Boys Rocking Crew in 2015. After six months in Mexico as a dancer and DJ (2018), I moved to the Bay Area, playing at clubs like Boom Boom Room, Madrone Art Bar, and Hello Stranger. In 2023, I joined the Tuff Funk DJ Club and kept refining my style on both vinyl and digital. Now, based in Southern Italy, I continue spinning at dance events, clubs, and working on remix production.
