After the successful EPs 'Don't Wanna Lose It' and 'So Good' by 'Mr. Konfuze & Lunatic' Nova Gain Records presents their latest funky affairs in shape of the brand new 'Groove On / Rise It To The Top'- EP by Swiss breakbeat funkateers TURNTILL, MERLIN and BRONZON.


Side A drops with Turntill & Merlin's magnificent track 'Groove On' ready to catch b-boy hearts and dancefloor lovers right away from the first second. Uplifting drums and grooves come with an amazing melody and vocals - party funk at its best!


On the flipside you have another amazing track by mister Turntill this time teamed up with producer Bronzon they deliver a wildstlye-soundtrack sounding goove monster on the boogie-breakbeat-tip called 'Rise It To The Top'!

Both tracks got the remix treatment by Nova Gain Records own Mr. Konfuze.


The digital release also features remixes by well known breakbeat and nu funk experts Quincy Jointz and Zamali who gave their special twist on the original versions.

It’s been 1 year since our very first mix. For those who don’t know, RareJointz is a 3-member DJ Crew based in Vietnam: DJ Slowz,Dj Ben Blue & Dj 2T. Apart from dedicating the music to local b-boy jams and parties, we always focus on digging for ‘Black Gold’ – Vinyl Records all day, every day, keeping the hiphop culture alive.

Juno Review: Cool, confident and coated in 70s sample class; Sard Boogie develops his reputation as one of the more subversive, jazzier producers in the nu-funk movement with his fourth full lengther Funky Walker Dirty Talker. From the quirky key meanders on "5 6 Keyboards" to the early 90s hip-hop heaviness of "Peep Show" via the speedier, bloc-rocking swing-out "The Item", there's a great range on show, held together with a consistent theme of nifty chops and fun samples. Mr. And-7 also known DJ Jay-D one of the strongest hip-hop, scratch and electronic DJ from Russia. In 1999 he has begun to dance a breakdance and to create the first music in style a breakbeat for dancers. In 2003 he has started the career of the DJ and became one of successful and technical hip-hop and break DJs in Russia. Some 10 years he continued to play on the dance battles (breaking, hiphop, house, popping, locking) in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the countries of Europe. Russian the DJ who played in Holland in the world IBE 2008 championship was the first. In 2008 he became the winner of the Russian dj championship of IDA Russia and it is subsequent he presented Russsia in the World champioship in Warsaw, Poland. He was also the first DJ who represented Russia on the World champioship. The last some years works as the musical producer in electronic music, cooperates with musical artists of the Russian electronic and pop scene, acts in clubs with live and DJ program across all Russia and other countries and collects rare vinyl records.

Born 1976 (offical year of the funky child) and bred in Melbourne, Sard Boogie started out as an Mc under the name "Sard" in the early 90's Producing and performing many live show's with ru C.L, Rema, Ill Kane, Dj Fx, Dj Excel and International act"Mystik Journeymen". From 1993-1996 a member of the Melbourne Based crew"Ruffnexet" , including interstate show's, an appearance on ABC tv, Numerous Live performances on Melbourne radio shows "Steppin 2 tha am" "Tha Formula" and the roof tearing show @ the renowned Hip hop reggae venue "Big Bamboo" in 1995. Performing as a solo artist playing live show's at Revolver, The Croft, 303 and Honky Tonk's to Name a few, also as a resident Dj at "Suede" and"White Rabbit" with "Fabric Soul's" Playing Funk, Rare groove, Break's, Hip hop and whatever else floats his boat. Sard Boogie has a strong Hip hop background but this dose not stop him from freakin the funk in other genres, whether it's in his sets or with his own production.
