This week was busy with producing and experimenting with different sounds for my upcoming EP. Even with all this work, I wanted to keep up with my weekly beat project. I joined a beat challenge and had just three hours to create something using only the materials from the pack. Here's what I came up with for "Flave." It was a fun challenge, and I'm excited to share it with you. Enjoy!

Inspiré par les défis hebdomadaires de Super Sample Paris, tous les dimanches pendant une heure. Chaque morceau a été façonné dans l'esprit brut et spontané qui anime nos Workshops, en partant de samples et en y ajoutant des acapellas d'artistes légendaires. Ce projet est un hommage au pouvoir de la création collective, même lorsqu'elle se transforme en une aventure solo.

I made this track when I was addicted to Fallout 76 lol.

If you played 76 on launch like I did and stopped playing, I totally get it because it sucked lol.

That being said, it is a much better game now.

Unyielding means not giving way to pressure; hard or solid. I like to think of it as being similar to the concept of perseverance.

I made this tune in an hour and decided to keep it as is!

A guy that loves music that just happens to produce, I love creating beats with no direction or any artist in mind, I mostly make the beats I love, My favorite producer is JDilla hands down but I study a long list of others. As of now I'm in the process of making  my own beat tapes just to show a little creativity and also to just challenge myself. I'm nowhere near a super producer or know everything there is about producing music so I'll just remain a student and create and learn more as I go. I love getting feedback on my music, so all feedback is welcome good or bad thanks.

-Alow is a San Francisco based artist who is continuously trying to branch out and find new methods of creativity within his music. He started messing around on the piano at just two years old, and nearly 2 decades later, has become a well recognized artist with a self made style from the years of inspiration pooled around him. Playing saxophone, piano, and an array of other instruments, both digital and physical alike, led him on a path of his own; which eventually led to his debut signing and release with bitbird during the create together challenge in 2021 with shwirl and faux ivvy. He would later go on to other labels and creatives such as: Digital Daydream, SILKENWOOD, artbyform and Lacuna (so far)! During his time releasing songs, -Alow has also performed sets for the Webpage 505’s “505FEST” and “Nest Fest”, and was the host of the weekly radio show Electronic Venture on KXSF 102.5 FM, for nearly 2 years. He has worked and released with a plethora of artists, including shwirl (as part of bitbird's create together vol.2), Slyleaf, Moore Kismet, Simulcats, John Haage, euphee, Lillybug, Goodknight, Marcix and many, many more. 

Ben is currently writing music in his bedroom studio in his family home, as he has been for years now, and is very excited to take you on his musical journey that will no doubt be something special.

ps: 
you can go anywhere regarding music with minimal access to equipment. when i first signed with bitbird and was just starting out, i was using a 121GB computer that was constantly filled with memory, and was living off a 500mb hard drive to store projects; along with a midi controller and some headphones. i never used serum, or anything i've had to pay for up to that point, and all of the plugins and vsts i used then are free so far! if you're newer to creating and are in search of some of the free stuffs, lmk if u want a list or smth for some plugin recs! (im on discord and insta pretty frequently, don't be shy to reach me i actually love getting messages and talking to u guys<3) 

you can get pretty far with just that alone. just experiment with sounds in mind until you find what speaks to you <3
