RobK is a music producer who first started exploring beat-making in the summer of 2023. Initially, the process was challenging, and after some frustration, he decided to step back for a while. In October 2024, he decided to dive back into the craft, this time using BendLab as his primary platform. He took a self-taught approach, learning the ins and outs of the program at his own pace. Through consistent effort and a lot of experimentation, he was able to quickly improve his skills. He started out making beats on his phone, which gave him the flexibility to work on the go, and then transitioned to his PC once he felt more confident in his abilities. This hands-on, self-guided journey has helped him build a solid foundation in music production, and he is excited to continue growing and pushing his sound forward. His sound has definitely been influenced by the members of GothBoiClique. He is a huge fan of Mackned's music and got his name from a song Mackned made called "RobK." That track, along with Mackned's overall influence, really inspired RobK to experiment with darker, more atmospheric beats and bring some of that emotional depth into his work. With the foundation he has built, RobK is excited to keep pushing forward, refining his sound, and seeing where his music can take him next.
