Now, back in the reality they’re familiar with, the Makeshift Knight takes what they’ve learned and begins their life anew. Well, actually, not entirely. Their mission remained unchanged. Only now, with their new found connection and support from the people and “spirits” around them, they could accomplish more than they ever imagined. 

Some say the Makeshift Knight was able to complete their mission for a time before being overthrown. Some say they died in a fiery pit of glorious flame trying to overthrow the evil rulers. Some even suspect they may still be fighting evil rulers to this very day. As for the truth, who is to say?? But what is certain is the Spirit of the Makeshift Knight lives on through all of us, IN all of us. The spirit of fighting for your peers because they have a heart just like yours. The spirit of rejecting treachery, standing up to it, fighting against it however possible, because it won’t let you or your friends or their friends or their friend’s friends live in peace. Fighting because you can recognize the life you share with everyone. The glimmer in their eyes, however faint or bright, just like the one that you have. You see it. Their heart. You believe it’s there. You know it’s there. Almost like another you. Almost like another Makeshift Knight.

So, simply put, the Makeshift Knight is… you.

Hmmm. Welp, seems that story is not everyone’s thing. Gotta get a new one I guess.
