Jim Wolf is a singer-songwriter originally from Fairfield, Connecticut. His journey into music began in the mid-90s, inspired by his brother’s band, Villanova Junction — a group that briefly included a young John Mayer. After tagging along to writing sessions and gigs, Wolf picked up his first guitar in 1994, a sunburst Fender Stratocaster, and began carving out his own sound.

Though he started on electric, it was the acoustic guitar that felt most natural. He spent his early years playing in bands throughout Connecticut before moving on as a solo artist, eventually making his way into the New York City singer-songwriter scene. Along the way, he's shared the stage with acts like The Alternate Routes, Charley Crockett, and comedian Mark Normand.

Wolf is signed to Peermusic Group Worldwide (via Peermusic Korea) and has been represented by Neon Entertainment for over a decade. He’s performed across the U.S. and internationally, with tours in South Korea and Singapore, including a major press tour in 2019.

His music — a mix of pop, folk, and soul — has earned airplay on both commercial and independent radio stations in the U.S. and abroad, including KHTP 103.7 The Mountain, 99.1 WPLR, and Korea’s TBS and MBC Radio.

Wolf gained unexpected international recognition when his song “Make You My Lady” was featured in a Korean wedding video for actors Chae Rim and Gao Zi Qi. The track later appeared in a Korean drama and went on to chart in Asia, peaking at #44 on the Mnet Pop Charts and reaching #2 on South Korea’s Melon Country/Folk/Blues chart — where it held steady in the top 3 for nearly two weeks in 2019.

To date, Jim Wolf has released five independent albums and 18 singles and EPs, with more music always in the works.
