Bella Merda invited me to create a mixtape for Bloody Queear, a monthly program on Roughradio where they explore the polymorphous and unexpected intersections of the terms "queer" and "music", guided by Socarras' definition:

    "A dual process, both attributing the music to artists identifiable as other than heterosexual, and defining the music itself as being outside the conventional or available genre categories."

For this mixtape, I focused on the concept of Satanic Panic, which its Wikipedia entry defines as a "moral panic consisting of over 12,000 unsubstantiated cases of Satanic ritual abuse starting in the United States in the 1980s, spreading throughout many parts of the world by the late 1990s, and persisting today."

The idea was to explore the relationship between Satanic cults and the Summer of Love, counterculture, sexuality, witchcraft, Christianity, and prostitution.

SATANIC PANIC 1

Le Trichocereus peut atteindre une hauteur de 6 à 7 mètres et se développe dans des climats arides à semi-arides. Il est fréquemment représenté dans les sculptures et céramiques des civilisations précolombiennes. Le Tristerix est une plante holoparasite endémique du Chili, qui produit de vibrantes fleurs rouges, attirant les colibris et jouant un rôle essentiel dans la pollinisation locale. Le Cerro Manquehue, ou « Lieu du condor », est un ancien volcan sacré culminant à 1 638 mètres d’altitude. Âgé de 19 millions d’années, il se situe au nord de Santiago.
