@Simpatiek delivers 2 swirling originals. Both are seductive, slinky and hypnotic arrangements which are right in line with their modus operandi. This EP surely highlights Simpatiek's growth as artists. 

"Auwey", the title track offers a unique twist on melodic and rhythmic house that can be used during peak-time moments to get the crowd's blood vessels stretched and boost the energy. The driving vocals & tribal influences throughout the drums, offer up groove inducing rhythms.

Delving into the deeper and broader spectrum of electronica, house & techno music. Sister label to Witty Tunes recordings. This month we welcome back our UK based friend, BinaryFunction. We asked him to let us know what he had going on the past couple of months - 
 - "Whilst in full lockdown here in the UK I've been keeping myself busy learning more and more about the world of streaming, noodling in my studio and being a dad. This month saw one of my dreams come true with my first ever vinyl release in the form of a track titled Damaged which appears on a 4 track various release via Science Cult - Squiggly Lines EP. The release was scheduled early this year however, COVID!!! delayed everything...Perhaps even more exciting for me is my forthcoming full 4 track electro EP again on Science Cult and on beautiful colored vinyl due for release early 2021. I'm super stoked to have been asked to provide another guest mix for the wonderful Shades of Play team, their support has been immense. I was recently featured as synth jam artist of the day episode 35 for Synths of the World which was great and totally unexpected. I've a lot planned for 2021 with more releases in the pipeline as I continue to do my thing. I hope you enjoy this mix, stay safe and be good to each other."

PREMIERE: BinaryFunction - We Will Destroy (Carl Finlow remix)

Mz amERIKA aka MC Party Mouth was a staple on the SF House Scene from '93 to '98. Club DV8T, Club Townsend, 1015 Folsom, The Pit, a few others, but most importantly she could be found at the END UP on Sunday morning to Monday Morning. She is most known for her non-stop twirling, floor tours, confetti throwing, rainbow suspenders (90s) and tool belt (now).

Most notably you can recognize her on any dance floor, calling out to the music and creating an inclusive vibe for all the groovers. She records whatever comes out and uses it to create funky fun house lyrics with attitude. She began writing lyrics in 2005, but tucked them away. She wasn't ready. 10 years later the lyrics resurfaced and she knew it was time. She's putting all her love, light, power and wisdom into this house to create a true vibe. Keep an ear out for her new "Love Note House Music" collaborations with local and global DJs.

Asked about who we are Dancing Devil only said: „ Imagine your Grandma..s old Chilli Con Carne recipe cooked in a brand new hi - tech kitchen and finally perfected with a dash of very hot spice. „

Dancing Devil is a trible consisting of two Brothers Michael Vollenweider, Pascal Vollenweider und Seraina Sunanda Herzog.
At the age of 5 Michael and Pascal started to play the Piano, the Percussion and the Drums. As they were born into a family blessed with great creativity other Instruments, like the Guitar, the Bass and others were quickly aprehended. Their first Band was a punk-metall Band called „ Useless „.

There could be felt the first inclination to the develish of Music and to what later became Dancing Devil.

Many Bands followed through the jears with different styles as Funk, Rock, Triphop and experimental Music. And finally, michael also graduated from Jazzschool ACM in Zürich.

Of course at that time the brothers were using Reason to produce their sound, but today they prefer working with cubase, which opend up a completely new dimension for their creativity.

The third member, Seraina Sunanda, came to music at the age of 7, by playing the Querfute and by atending Harmonieschool. At the age of 11, she started to build her voice in vpcalist education in classical Music and later on in Jazz and Blues.

In the early mid – 90..tis when the goapartyes still were „ informal „ , held in the underground and mostly illegal, each one had found its inspiration in his ore her own way. Until they met in 1998 it was defenetly a state of Emergency bevore 1999 Goa was „ infected „ with spiritualism of all Kinds: Shiva, Shanti, Vishnu, Budda and Krishna were dominating the scene. To counter this, something has to happen! And so Dancing Devil came to life.

In 2002 Michael and Daniel Kessler started a side project called Chilldevil. As the name states they produced groovy, funky and clubby Chillout which inclouded also some Triphopsongs made of Seraina Sunanda.
