They go on to discuss their now stronger sense of what their gender is now that they have a broader understanding of what a man can be. Ymir also talks about their relationship with their chest and how it has evolved from hatred and constant binding, to an acceptance and the need for more diverse representation of different trans bodies.

 Reading “Of Myth and Memento Mori” on a rainy September afternoon, I was transported to Halloween. I could smell autumn as I walked the haunted trails of a pumpkin farm, feel my hands grow warmer as they held a steaming cup of hot chocolate, and see the mist and the secrets it held. Enchanted by these things, and the naturally smooth storytelling, I knew this was a book for Fika, and my Halloween pick for 2024. 

We’ll also be looking into one of Victoria’s series “The Binding Universe.”  There are many more.

About “Of Myth and Memento Mori” - Beware of the Knockers. They come in the night, searching for the one that wronged them.Lenore waits all year for Halloween to descend on the small Appalachian town of Hiraeth Hollow. A mortician and the town’s only professional pumpkin carver, Lenore spends her autumn weekends carving gruesome scenes in gourds while sipping hot beverages at the local Halloween attraction.


This year, something has changed. A knocking echoes through the trees, a strange man appears and disappears before Lenore’s eyes, and mysterious deliveries arrive on her doorstep. Then, the attacks begin.

Deckster discovered Dance Music very early, attracted to the nearby situated famous Dutch nightclubs like "Waakzaamheid", IT Amsterdam and Roxy.  He is addicted to music and plays several instruments, but never started playing the decks until mid 2020. His broad taste in music and search for out-of-ordinary tracks give him a unique sound and vibe.

He is in the game for the fun and joy of sharing music and vibe.  As music is tightly bond to atmosphere, place and time, the music varies from the most relaxed and chill sounds to some solid techno beats! 
His heart goes out to organic and downtempo progressive tunes, with a solid base in Bass, Drums and Percussion. Hypnotic and binding tunes with an ever existing positive vibe.
