Alberto Serrano, also known as Biorc, is a Spanish DJ and producer based in Madrid.
His first encounter with electronic music date back to 2011, where he starts
DJing. It's finally in 2018 when he decides to refine his musical selection and
showcase it in his DJ sets, which are filled with forcefullness and intensity

As a producer, he has signed EPs on labels such as Airsound, Illegal Alien,
Concepto Hipnotico, or Newrhytmic. Biorc also is the co-owner of Ethnic
Meeting Recs and Null Warp, where he works as a mastering engineer

His productions have been played in legendary clubs such as Berghain,
Lanna, Specka, or Under Club. Moreover, his music has been played by
artists like Oscar Mulero, DVS1, HD Substance or  Lewis Fautzi.

Kobold is a relatively young record label from Argentina with an eye on the underground releasing raw and hypnotic techno from host of talent including Esteban Miranda and Rhombic.

Their nineteenth EP sees Spanish up-and-comer BIORC join the ranks of Kobold, with a back catalogue that includes superb labels like Joton's Newrhythmic, MTD's Methodical, and Diffuse Reality.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "A Cal y Canto" which presents a cyclical style. A melancholic tone lurks throughout, and droning, haunting textures combine with chopping, analogue sounds which intensify the deep emotions instilled into a classy contemporary techno take.

A propos de Interzone
interzone est né à Paris. Dès 1987 il découvre très tôt son amour pour la musique et la contre-culture underground à travers la zulu nation,le graph et les concerts de Rap U.S. Vers 1989 il commence à tendre l'oreille vers les radio comme nova ou fréquence Gay (futur génération) qui deviendra radio FG. IL découvre d'ailleurs en écoutant cette dernière la scène RAVE grâce à la fameuse émission Rave-Up de Patrick Rognant. Il n'en faut pas plus pour qu'interzone se jette à corps perdu dans ce nouveau mouvement qui déferle en europe : la Techno. interzone vit activement à travers tous les types de dancefloors : Techno - House - deep house - free party - jungle - trance... il met un point d'honneur à ne pas s'enfermer dans une chapelle et c'est encore le cas en 2021. pendant 10 ans les clubs comme le gibus,le Queen et le Rex club deviennent sa deuxième maison (il habite rue du temple dans le Marais à Paris). c'est d'ailleurs au Rex club qu'il suivra comme un trainspotter toutes les sessions de Laurent Garnier. Lui vouant un véritable culte du fait de l'éclectisme des sets de ce dernier. A partir de 1996,interzone devient très avide de sons allemands à la manière de gigolo records ou disko B. l'an 2000 ! interzone décide de s'établir à Nice et très rapidement il se met à suivre avec frénésie les soirées Techno azuréenne ainsi que les afters sans fins qui se déroulent toutes les semaines. Pendant 2 ans environ interzone alimente grâce à ses mixs les web magazines français ou allemands.
2009 départ pour le frontière Suisse. l'odyssée spatiale continue vers plusieurs destinations. Ibiza, Berlin, Barcelone, Ukraine…

About Interzone
interzone was born (for sure !) in Paris. he discovered his love for early music and underground culture-cons early as 1987 through the Zulu nation, the graph and concerts Rap Around 1989 he began to listen to the radio as a nova or frequency that will become Gay Radio FG. He discovered also listening to this last scene with the famous RAVE show Rave-Up Patrick trimming. It does not take more for qu'interzone threw himself headlong into this new movement is sweeping into Europe: Techno. interzone active lives through all types of dance floors: Techno - House - deep house - free party - jungle - trance ... He makes a point of honor not to be locked in a chapel and is still the case in 2024. for 10 years clubs like the top hat, the Queen and the Rex club became his second home. Rex is also the club he will be a trainspotter all sessions of Laurent Garnier. Who evince a cult because of the eclecticism of the latter sets. His most recent album, Hikikomori (2021), was born out of his interactive production courses, reflecting themes of isolation during the pandemic.

In addition to his production and performance work, Joton is a respected educator. Since 2010, he has shared his knowledge through collaborations with leading brands like Arturia, Parallel Festival, Microfusa, Intec and The Bass Valley, as well as international institutions such as Beatworx Academy in India.

Joton’s performances have left an indelible mark on some of the world’s most celebrated venues, including  Tresorin Berlin, REX in Paris, Basement in New York, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propagandain Moscow, Dommune in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Pereira, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Garein Porto, Infra in Boston, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Drugstore in Belgrade, Fabrik in Madrid, Technosnobs in Phoenix, among others.

When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it.
This is the case of Hugo Rolan, a native of the north of Spain, more precisely Asturias, has been Asturias, has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since he was a teenager, and now in his maturity
since his adolescence, and now in his maturity we can say that he masters the language to perfection.
He has been primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar 
in the local underground scene while working a conventional day job. In his spare time, he has been learning production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to go public with his work.
The wait has been worth it, and in 2022 his first work has been published onone of the most recognized ceiling labels of the moment, Warm Up Recordings, managed by Oscar Mulero, a very interesting debut album full of techno.
The second reference of his discography is released on one of the most 
important labels worldwide, nothing more and nothing less than the Axis Records owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where he is heading.
Thanks to this start he has been able to publish on different labels, with works on Incense Records, Legend 1997 Records, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet Recordings, Semantica Records, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms and several VVAA on Fenómenos Records, West Rules, KeyHole Records, Voyager Recordings and Loopaina Records.

He is currently a resident of Lanna Club, where he can be found in the club's monthlymonthly program of this club.

entenderlo, este es el caso de Hugo Rolan, oriundo del norte de España, más precisamente de Asturias, ha estado expuesto al techno y los sonidos futuristas desde su adolescencia, y ahora en su madurez podemos afirmar que domina el lenguaje a la perfección.
Ha sido principalmente DJ durante dos décadas, permaneciendo bajo el radar en la escena underground local mientras desarrollaba un trabajo diario convencional. En su tiempo libre, ha estado aprendiendo habilidades de producción, profundizando en el software y hardware de creación musical, entrenando duro y en silencio hasta que ha sentido el momento de hacer público su trabajo.
La espera ha valido la pena, y en 2022 su primer trabajo ha sido publicado en uno de los sellos de techo más reconocidos del momento, Warm Up
Recordings, gestionado por Oscar Mulero, un álbum de debut muy interesante y lleno de techno.
La segunda referencia de su discografía se publica en uno de los sellos más importantes a nivel mundial, nada más y nada menos que el sello Axis Records propiedad de Jeff Mills, un trabajo que nos hace acercarnos a su creatividad y nos da una idea de hacia dónde se encaminan su sonido.
Gracias a este arranque ha podido publicar en distintos sellos, con trabajos en Incense Records, Legend 1997 Records, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet Recordings, Semantica Records, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms y varios VVAA en Fenómenos Records, West Rules, KeyHole Records, Voyager Recordings y Loopaina Records
