This is a song done in the style of early Einsturzende Neubauten. I edited the sounds but did my best not to over-edit them, as I wanted any imperfections in the beat and flow to remain.

I wrote a poem and then ran it through a translate and text-to-speech program.

Toppling Towers

The bombs are pretty. Like flowers from exile. Starbursts across the green plains. Fed by the worms. Death and shit compost. Dirt and soil and blood.

Die Bomben sind hübsch. Wie Blumen aus dem Exil. Sterne explodieren über die grünen Ebenen. Von den Würmern gefüttert. Tod und Scheißkompost. Schmutz und Erde und Blut.

Meat and maggots and marigolds. We stand as one. We fall as one. Like ancient towers. Like opium poppies. Such are the horrors of war. 

Fleisch und Maden und Ringelblumen. Wir stehen als Einheit da. Wir fallen als Einheit. Wie alte Türme. Wie Schlafmohn. Das sind die Schrecken des Krieges.

From boomer to doomer. This world blooms. Fresh corpses like daisies. Under jackboots and smiles. The flowering madness. The towering darkness. 

Vom Boomer zum Doomer. Diese Welt blüht. Frische Leichen wie Gänseblümchen. Unter Stiefeln und Lächeln. Der blühende Wahnsinn. Die gewaltige Dunkelheit.

In the boiling oceans. The planet strikes back. And no one is prepared. The orcas sink ships. We punish loose lips. In this time of deception. Truth is called treason. 

In den kochenden Ozeanen. Der Planet schlägt zurück. Und niemand ist vorbereitet. Die Orcas versenken Schiffe. Wir bestrafen lose Lippen. In dieser Zeit der Täuschung. Wahrheit nennt man Verrat.

Genocide apologists. Climate deniers. Soon there’ll be no one. To put out the fire. When the last bomb is dropped. And the survivors ask why. No one will answer. The children all died. 

Apologeten des Völkermords. Klimaleugner. Bald wird es niemanden mehr geben. Um das Feuer zu löschen. Wenn die letzte Bombe abgeworfen wird. Und die Überlebenden fragen warum. Niemand wird antworten. Die Kinder starben alle.

We need a new story. Unlike the old ones. Written by the small ones. And not the giants. Of industry. Of policy. The workers. The poor. The artists like me. The freaks and the whores. 

Wir brauchen eine neue Geschichte. Im Gegensatz zu den alten. Geschrieben von den Kleinen. Und nicht die Riesen. Von der Industrie. Von der Politik. Die Arbeiter. Die Armen. Die Künstler mögen mich. Die Freaks und die Huren.

 And an unnamed project combining Space Rock, Psychedelic Garage Rock like the Butthole Surfers, and Electro-Industrial songs like KMFDM, oHgr, or Velvet Acid Christ.
