Leafblighter - Milieu (The Preposterist Remix)

This is just a test how well the newly released Blofeld plugin works on my 6th gen iPad mini. And the answer is: beautifully. I never really saw more than 50% cpu utilization with 3 Waldorf tracks and 3 Zoa generators in AUM. 

Here's the setup:
- One Zoa game-of-life midi generator instance with 3 generators active
- One Waldorf Blofeld track for pads receiving notes from the Zoa generator 1 with a pace of 4 bars
- One Waldorf Blofeld track for arps receiving notes from the Zoa generator 2 with a pace of 8th notes
- One Waldorf Blofeld track for bass receiving notes from the Zoa generator 3 with a pace of dotted 8ths
- One vadrum2 drum synth track for the drum track

Zero composition from my part: it's all generative music in the key of C minor and the Zoa instance is just playing game of life by itself and translating that into notes in the appropriate key at predefined pace.

Morceau entièrement composé avec un Waldorf Blofeld

Been making many new tracks the past few weeks so had some real problems on deciding what to upload. Hence the solution was to upload a 3 year old track from May 2022 that is heavily based on speak & spell samples (through the Octatrack), original formant patches from my Planet Earth synth (at the end) + Kraftwerk type sounds from the Waldorf Blofeld. May upload an extra track tomorrow to celebrate my 500 followers:) Thanks to all my listeners and fans!

BloArp

Some mid 00's slow melodic progressive trance/house made with the trustful old good Waldorf Blofeld. Tried some Kyau & Albert vibes on the arps and percussions. This murky oldschool hardware sound cannot easily be replicated by vst to my ears.

Prog trance Blofeld

Experimental slow beat with arps, bass and pads from Micromonsta2 and Blofeld. Proteus 2000 does the drums. Effects from Valhalla and Waves. The RNLA 7239 fattens up each channel with some extra warmth during recording. Works like charm even for vst synths.

Lunar Voyage

Some ambient rumbling techno with drums from Proteus 2000, bass from Blofeld, arps and sequences from both.

Was actually planning to make a Vinyl release with this track included but decided against it due to intensive sample use (can't source where these Speak & Spell samples came from?). Recorded a month ago and made a couple of versions. Quite like this one so enjoy. Rather a "feelgood" vibe goin' on:)

This is a place for electronic doodles to reside, no specific genres but broadly under the techno banner and all made with hardware synths. . . Currently my working kit consists of MPC One with S-1 & T-8 or Octatrack, blofeld, Erebus, Circuit Mono Station, and Zoom CDR-70 pedal  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Brillman has been an electronic online musician during the last 20 years using many different names: Brillman, Controlfreak, freakcontrol, Red Karma, Atmosphere, Zero Loop, Pan64, Randomcontrol, geometric delay and Superfreak! Brillman mainly creates original sounds from hardware synths but also uses guitar, samplers, vocals or even poetry. He primarily utilizes a 4 to the floor approach. The aesthetics behind the music is about finding a balance between minimalism vs. depth & improvisation vs. programmed.
