Technicolour's Summer Shindig - 21st August 2022

Climbing a mountain is a cleansing process, starting with pain of the ascent, the confusion through the sustained effort, peaking with the infinity of the horizon at the top, and ending with the joyful, gratifying descent to land into inner peace for the body and the mind.  Some mountains are found inside each and everyone of us.

This is my first psycore DJ set, going from 175 to 205bpm and back to 190bpm. Had alot of fun doing it, as it felt like I was connecting again with the freeparty sound of my origins!

Welcome to the Blue Dubs series. 

It's a brand new "digital mini compilations" project curated by Luca Blue and Master Margherita. 

We've asked some of our favourite musicians to remix each other's tracks; Blue Dubs Volume 1 is the marvellous result of what they created. 

On this chapter we have Seb Taylor aka Kaya Project and Digitalis, Zen Baboon, Lo.Renzo, PIneal, Ermetico and Master Margherita.. they played with each other's music, they re-programmed and remixed: a new sonic journey is created and ready to welcome you all.

We are very happy to present a new addition to our Blue Hour Sounds family! Oden hails from the land of heavy metal and finnish sauna (not necessarily in that order) - introducing himself with his fresh out of the oven 3 track EP. 

With his bubbly, organic driving sounds he perfectly captures the moment between dark and light, the blue hour, a delicate and short instance we all know and love. Something for high flights, deep dreams and footloose trance dance.

Raem is the DJ set project of Jeremie T, hailing from France. After navigating the infamous European freeparties and psychedelic festivals since the early 2000s, he joined Blue Hour Sounds in 2014 and ADN Music in 2015 as label DJ. 

The Raem project is about offering sonic stories carefully crafted for each event and crowd. By mixing styles and speeds, he delivers emotionally rich journeys with contrasting sonic palettes, always at the service of the trance dance experience. 

Main stages: morning vibes (forest/darkpsy/hitech/groovy/tribe)
Alternative stages: progressive vibes (techno to psygressive)
Chill-outs: deep house & techno (with world music)

Since 2022, he's part of Ethereal Decibel Company to work on the environmental aspect of the summer festival (carbon accounting & environmental impact assessment).

➞Something about us:

Blue Hour Sounds is a psychedelic Trance and Chillout label based in Italy. 
It all started in 2009, from a creative union between two lovers, music seekers and dancers who passionately manage the label, with the need to create an important point of reference for both listeners and dancers. 
Everything starts from a family, which always increases its skills.

Thanks to the help of many good friends, visionaries, travellers and a constant and lovely support, we are glad to please your feelings distributing our works, with marvellous and touching tunes. We involved every side of the psychedelic and funky expression in our trance and chillout compilations, albums and digital Ep’s.

We intent to create products that have low impact on the environment, so we decide to make our printed promotion material and packages always ECO-FRIENDLY, mostly made of non-toxic inks on recycled paper and without plastic. Since we still produce CDs, we aim to have the package a 100% recyclable.

We are guests of nature!

R3JAL discovered psytrance in 2016, but it wasn't until 2019 that he attended his first party in the UK, fell in love with the scene, and began attending several gatherings.

By January 2020, he had acquired CDJs and began developing his abilities behind the decks, spreading his selection of music that take one on a journey through groovy woodlands. He joined UK psytrance label Enterrec six months later and is working on his first compilation. After a year of playing around UK, he got the opportunity to join Visionary Shamanics records and currently blasts their discography of forest, dark-prog and darkpsy.

Forest psytrance is mostly played ranging from 150 to 156 bpm, with twisted, atmospheric bending, groovy basslines, and each with its own tale. When not in the forest, he plays darkprog and darkpsy with the intention of creating his own style in the future.
