This practice guides you slowly through the body, noticing sensations such as pressure, warmth, tension, movement, and support. There is nothing you need to change or do perfectly. Your attention may wander, and when it does, you can simply notice and return.

Created as an ADHD-friendly mindfulness practice, with simple guidance, plenty of space, and permission to experience your body exactly as it is.

If you haven't had the pleasure of being guided by Karen Meyer, I strongly recommend you experience not only this class but also her past classes on my channel. The main focus for this class was to continue enhancing movements related to walking. Karen always starts with an excellent body scan which sets the tone for participants to bring their attention to their internal awareness and sensing. She led a number of basic floor cat routine movements, always well paced with no rushing, and always with an elegance. Of course she adapts the movements with variation and periodic reminders to our full body participation. She concluded class both with a floor body scan and then had us stand up and notice our standing and walking. Her classes always engender aha moments and feel satisfying and complete.
