Eight Miles Down the Road is the latest track by Pete Berris & The Motor Inns. It's an exploration of 1940s jump blues and R&B featuring some boogie woogie piano pounding on the ol' 88s and some jazzy-bluesy electric guitar courtesy of a 1966 Fender Coronado II. The humorous lyrics further play off of American musical nostalgia with references to various modes of transportation including a Studebaker, a Jalopy, a Cadillac (of course), and a rocket ship.
