The next episode in my Glasgow DJ's comes two of the most prolific hardcore DJ's to hail from the city.
Marc Smith is one of the most idolised Glasgow DJ's within my home city.  Hailing from the schemes in the south side of Glasgow he was renowned for his scratching and his amazing mixing of dance tunes.  He was a regular DJ at the Hacienda in Glasgow and then became a regular at the famous Rezerection.  Still massive in the underground scene.
Scott Brown was very prominent in the same scene as Marc and he quickly became a household name in many forms within the hardcore scene in the 90's.  Best set was The Awakening of 95 New Year, what a night that was.  Well enough of my splash......

I am an old school raver from the nineties and my first full rave was the epic Rezerection Event 2.  Since then i have experienced many different types of dance music across many countries and had many great nights whilst meeting many great people.  I also had a great time in the early 2000's at the arches between inside out and pressure nights, which i have very fond memories of.
