Inspired by time spent as a resident bathhouse DJ at Steamworks Baths in Toronto - as well as his involvement with queer communities at large - Pleasure Dome appeals to a dark, sensual nature, exploring the dynamics of modern sex culture with an almost voyeuristic viewpoint. Drawing upon notions of love that can be emotionally distant but deeply sexual, Callum’s productions here lean into both subtle sonic detailings and maximal effects that speak to all kinds of sensorial response. Guiding the EP are Callum’s own vocals, delivered in a seductive yet detached manner, as if the narrator is both part of and outside the experience.

Opening the proceedings, the title track gently expands from a distant acid loop, driven forward by a tripped out robotic voice over pummelling hammer bass. ‘Seductor’ heightens the tension with a faster, bouncing cut of echoing bells and buoyant percussion. Heading into a more explosive realm, ‘Welcome To Nu Rave’ features euphoric builds that rise and fall over pounding drums. ‘Come to Play’ keeps the peaktime energy rolling with industrial leads and playful lasers. Closing things off is ‘Dangerous Obsession’, a headspin of distorted percussive effects and pitch bendi

Pleasure Dome reflects on underrepresented aspects of queer culture, documenting the experience of a bathhouse in all of its allures and contradictions.

Lithuanian producer Under Black Helmet has been producing abrasive, industrial cuts since the mid-2010s, channelling the darker spheres of electronic music into highly rhythmic percussive workouts. 
He appeared earlier this year on the WE ARE NOT ALONE PT.7 compilation, and regularly performs in some of the world’s most respected clubs. 
Rommek is an alias of Romek Boyer, a producer and DJ with an extensive background in sound design, and an impressive catalogue of releases that explore intricate sonic arrangements with a highly textural approach.

Opening up the proceedings are two cuts from Under Black Helmet. ‘Slicer’ is a glistening but melancholic journey into intense electronics, with a minimal framework driven forward by subtle semitone shifts in the bassline. 
‘The Games You Play’ leans into sparser surrounds with paired back glitching pitches and a complex web of cross rhythmic drums.

On the flip side, Rommek’s ‘Kiss of Life’ is a densely layered orchestration of pitch bends and stuttering percussion that morphs gradually from swaying synths to operatic wails, toying with the contours of reality. 
Closing things off, the eerily titled ‘The Owls Are Not What They Seem’ builds to a storm of detuned bells and hammerdrill leads, marching further into the woods than might be advised.

Kay Barton, originally from northern Germany, developed a passion for electronic music at a young age and taught himself the basics using simple DOS operating software. After relocating to the Heidelberg area in 1997, Kay delved into the world of DJing. Throughout the years, he has performed at renowned clubs and festivals both nationally and internationally, including the Love Parade Berlin, Street Parade Zurich, G-Move Hamburg, Zug der Liebe Berlin, and Rave The Planet Berlin. Additionally, he has played for various German radio stations such as Sunshine Live. Setting himself apart as not just a DJ but also an event organizer, Kay has curated electronic music events in the Rhine-Main area, with the popular 'The Place To Be' series being a notable example.

He initially experimented with different artist names and musical styles. However, in 2016, he made a deliberate shift towards pure techno music while using his real name. That same year, he made his debut with the release of his single 'Return 01' on the Belgian record label Bonzai, followed by remixes on Emerald & Doreen Records. Notably, his EP 'MacroGod' was released in 2019, featuring remixes by Dr Motte and Mijk van Dijk.  As his career progressed, Kay released music on various record labels, including Neuhain and Ballroom in Berlin, before finally signing with Trapez Records (Traum Schallplatten) in Cologne in 2020. He continued to make a name for himself, releasing his first EP on IAMT in 2022, and collaborating with renowned artists like Tom Wax, Ross Harper, Mijk van Dijk and YULI ANA.

In addition to his DJ and producing work, Kay also ventured into radio hosting. From 2020 to 2024, he has been hosting two monthly house and techno mix shows called 'Wiener Wohnzimmer' (formerly known as 'Heidelberger Wohnzimmer') and 'Sophisticated Rhythms' on Evosonic Radio, Germany's first station dedicated solely to electronic music. 

In 2023 along with his wife Evi he established the event series 'TRENDWÆNDE'. They organised the 'Save The Planet Float' at the Rave The Planet Parade in Berlin, collaborating with three promoters and label operators. The following year, TRENDWÆNDE organised several techno events in Vienna, including a collaboration with Ukraine's largest rave series, Laboratorium, for the 'Play Techno - Stop Wars' float at the Rave The Planet Parade.  Shortly afterwards, ‘CONNÆKT.’ was launched, a new, regular event series organised by TRENDWÆNDE, in which they bring together local and international representatives of sophisticated techno with local heroes such as the internationally renowned techno artists Alan Oldham (aka DJ T-1000) and BB Deng of Ego Riot to Vienna.

Born in Brussels, Dan Walter starts in the mid 90's within the Hardcore-Gabber scene, an extraordinary skill experience behind the decks. Followed by dj residency in Belgium and events in Netherland. Early 2000, He wanted to make his own sound. A compromise between the energy of Hardcore and the groove of House music. Re-unite the influences, synthesize things to make something unique.
He got noticed first with remixes where his personal touch brought another dimension to vocal House tracks (Barbara Sheree )or Minimal tunes (Datensi)
Labels like Manzi Music, Crossworld Records, Plus Recordings and Audio Rehab London gave him chance to release his personal work. Multiple imprints for a multiple artist. Dan Walter isn’t easy to follow, because of his many shapes and work supports. A complete artist who is originally active in the fashion world as a hairdresser and photo artist.
continuing on this path, successive releases and hosting streamings mixes for the Crossworlder Broadcast, one of his favorite playground, where he can share the music he loves. No concessions, no boundaries, just music.
