I'm stepping outside of my usual zone here with this song and the last few songs that I've produced. Not only have I taken on a genre of music I've never explored before but I've done so living that poetry in motion through my music. I did it all for you. 

I did it because I felt it would make the music better, I believe it did. My feelings and opinions don't matter, I made this music for others, not for myself. I want you to experience what I"ve created without knowing me or caring to know me. Once you've heard what I have to offer, I hope it will compel you to listen again or explore other projects I've created. I hope it will want you to comment, engage and even email me. I would love to hear from you, I"ve created these pieces to compel you, to open doorways, not only in your mind but in my life. I believe the two doorways are connected, I just need to walk through them at the same time as you. We will meet on the other side. Be sure to leave a comment.

Artist Bio:
     Nathan Patton, (aka. Daddy Patty), is a self-made independent artist from Indiana, United States. His music has been proclaimed by some as “Undefinable” due to his unique variety of experimental sounds, concepts, and odd combination of genres. Some songs may include genres like R&B/Soul, all the way to Orchestral, as well as Indie Rock, Jazz/Blues, Electronic, Disco-Funk, Lofi Hip-Hop, all the way to Rap/Hip-Hop, and more. Him, as an artist, can be shockingly abstract and daring, yet sprinkled with comedic relief, tragic romance, and full of lucid dream-like motifs. Daddy Patty strives to break boundaries as he makes the music, he feels is necessary to express himself fully, rather than be stuck committing to one genre like many artists. This is known throughout not just his music, but also his art, and literature.
     Nathan grew up in, Columbus Indiana, where throughout his life he struggled to fit in with the rest of his peers due to his shy and quiet nature. He found out at a young age that he was Dyslexic and had difficulties with paying attention, giving Nathan a disadvantage in academics, which he still struggles with. However, he is very self-driven and has taught himself many of his skills. Nevertheless, he was still bullied and discouraged throughout his life by his peers and by adults. Nathan says, “I’ve always felt like I was an exile. I would talk to people and they would look at me like I was crazy. My humor, my perception of things, my thoughts and creative ideas were scary to people, I guess. It’s a very lonely existence when it seems there’s not a single soul out there who can connect or relate with you. So, I spent my Friday nights and weekends by myself writing poetry, doing music, painting, teaching myself a new skill, or going on epic road trip adventures around the state. Better off that way. With people, I must act a certain way. On my own, I know how to really fuck shit up.”
     Nathan hopes to one day be a full-time creator in as many artistic types as possible. “If I could, I would live in a log cabin out in the middle of the wilderness away from society and create until the day I die. I wish I didn’t need money but could just live in an everlasting creative state of mind.” says, Nathan.
       He goes by “Daddy Patty”, which is the stage name he gave himself in high school. His name would have you expect his creations are more on the funny side, perhaps some wouldn’t take him seriously. However, Nathan likes the idea of people having a pre-conceived notion that he is just a meme artist, then are immediately taken aback by the seriousness, the detail, and the emotion he provokes. No matter how one perceives him. Nathan describes himself as the perfect embodiment of the tortured artist.
