About Agapi Stassinopoulis
Agapi is a best-selling author and speaker who inspires audiences around the world. Dr. Boyd is a Pediatric Dentist in Chicago. He is an attending instructor in the Pediatric Dentistry residency program at Lurie Children’s Hospital where he serves as a dental consultant to the Sleep Medicine service.  His clinical focus is centered on prevention of oral and systemic disease through promotion of healthy breathing and eating; his primary research interest is in the area of infant/early childhood feeding practices and how they impact palatal-facial development, naso-respiratory competence, and neuro-cognitive development. He is currently a visiting Scholar at U. Pennsylvania doing research in the areas of anthropology and orthodontics. A former president of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, he learned meditation at the age of fifteen and lived for many years in a monastic setting studying with world-renowned teachers. Embodiment is a practice that allows us to connect to the here and now by using our amazing bodies as resources for healing. Our bodies are wise and exceptionally capable at informing us when something is wrong or in need of our attention.

David Florence Interview On The Practice Of Breathwork

Ed Harrold is a Certified Yoga Instructor as well as being certified in Advanced Pranayama and as an Advanced Meditation Teach. He also created the Mind Body Athlete performance training program. Ed has been involved in competitive athletics his whole life but it wasn’t until he was competing in the Around the Island Swim (22 ½ mile swim) in 1994 that he faced his ultimate turning point. In this race, he discovered the power of breath and the concept of “flow states”.

Ed uses his experience in that race to inspire him to take up yoga and the learn the effects of yogic breathing. He now has formed his own unique practice by combining yoga and sports in a way that had never been done before.
