"1. To See it All - my final project from my 1st production class at Berklee College of Music from appx. 2023ish.
2. Mentally Ill - 1st this song came to me on my keyboard, and THEN the lyrics came. FULLY original, FULLY hand played, ZERO copy and pasting of that long 4-note hook! Once I was finished it was originally called, aptly, "Bipolar & Ret**ded", but folks don't seem to like that. (?)
3. Glow - Again FULLY original, FULLY hand played, and a piece of my heart. I wrote this song, guitar squeals, dulcimer, and all, for my estranged daughter.
4. Sakura's Downfall - I played this on my keyboard in my pro-studio/daw using a patcher instrument setting. The instrument plug-ins were "Sakura" and "Plucked". I originally was going to call it "Sakura's Plucked Up!" to be kitschy, but then it/I got all sad and sh!+ while playing, and down we fell.
5. Soul - Some of you may have heard this already. This is a "remastered/enhanced" version. I went in and added a sound booster, ANOTHER transient processor and compressor, and messed with the EQ a little. Much clearer and vibrant! The reason it's so "analog" sounding is I'm still in need of a proper ACTUAL drums recording location. You can play keys/synth all day
6. Who's There?! - This one was fun, and definitely the scorned man's anthem. Needs redone, but I wanted to share it, it was a very cathartic create. FULLY original with the tag/hookline on my guitar and then in the root of the mix inspired by Sting's - "Shape of My Heart" You can hear the homage if you know the song, but just a little, mine song is a lot different, way higher "octane" and about a man losing love's gamble.
7. I Don't Know You - This is the ONLY song on this entire album, and in my entire personal catalogue, where I used a PIECE of a free sample. Well, 2 actually...It's the very first song that I EVER mixed. It's 2 small free samples that I happened to notice sounded GREAT overlayed. That was my first creation, then I was inspired to write a poem for my new creation, and then because I can play instruments I thought to experiment. So, there's the 2 chopped and mixed samples and MY playing of the pan flute, bells on keys, hi-hats, and a custom patcher instrument I made with some saw plug-ins, some delay, etc...which all really change the tune, and then of course FULLY ORIGINAL LYRICS! Which ended up being dual purpose, I'm sort of talking to my oldest son and myself, discovering upon objective interpretation.
8. The Gr8 & Powerful Waz - This is a very easy explanation...and again the reason this one is so "analog" sounding...My best friend died, I was pissed! The little bit of heart I had repaired was broken. I sat down at the piano this came out, still pissed I sat down at the drums to beat some shit out. I wasn't going for crazy riffs or technique, just beating the S#!T out of the drums in a way that worked with the piano I laid down. Very much a piece of my heart.

It's not the most polished, best album in the world...but if you find your way I hope you enjoy!"

New to creative scene, some of my lyrical tracks will probably provide some of my bio. Dark Drum n Bass has been my darker sides favourite genre since it evolved from Jungle to Jump Up and Tech Step etc. My rarer but brighter side loves Happy Hardcore and some of the oldschool Gabba from Thunderdome. 

A Dyewitness (Masterplan) record, which was gifted to me by a very generous friend who I used to competitively game with back when prize pools were unfortunately peanuts because our crew dominated for quite a while, is one of my most favourite tunes and probably drove me towards the rave scene originally. 

Hip-Hop/Rap has always been one of those everlasting genres, a perfect outlet for story and emotion, somehow it ended up being the first track I created. I wrote the lyrics and soundtrack, but the vocals are generated. I just got a microphone, but fk knows if I can compete with technology, it's pretty flawless. 

Either way I know I have to craft my music myself to be taken seriously, so I'm hoping to do that, before "AI" inevitably dominates the industry. I can see its potential for live music creation, and getting that perfect track still takes creativity and the patience to push out iterations all night long, but I would hate to see it take over completely. The technology I've worked with for my entire career, will ironically take over my old job within the next 5 years, as much as I will have to embrace it I know many won't.
