The celebration of the one and only Jözen!

Den 28:e januari firades Jözen att han fyllde 40 år med en privatfest i Smedjan, Vittinge. Det bjöds härligt umgänge, landets fetaste PA-rigg och massa dans och skratt, samt mat för den hungrige och alkohol för den törstige.

Lineup:
18-21: Schönfeldt, resident DJ i klubbkollektivet Kowac´n´Friends bjuder på sköna funky house vibbar
21-22: Schnippenkopf fortsätter med ett nostalgisk set av gamla klubblåtar
22-23: N3RON pumpar på med ett tech-trance set fyllt med en personliga favoriter och egna mashups
23-24: Ackee vrider upp tempot med drivande euforisk hardstyle
24-01: Schnippenkopf öser vidare med UK Hardcore
01-??: Swedish Rave Society Event Crew mullrar på i fyllan med mörk psytrance

Detta var mitt tidiga set under kvällen, där jag lite på begäran samlade ihop gamla nostalgiska klubblåtar. Så detta blir den tredje delen i Club Classics-serien, med låtar från sent 90-tal till en bit in på 2000-talet.
Mixen innehåller personliga favoriter från artister som Brooklyn Bounce, E-Type, 666 och för att inte tala om Antiloop´s magiska remix på Secret Service "Oh Susie".

Det kändes inte mer än rätt att hylla Maxwell Fraser (14 June 1957 – 24 December 2022), kanske mer känd som Maxi Jazz från det brittiska elektroniska bandet Faithless. Det går inte sätt ord till vad de bidragit med till musikscenen där jag själv har flertalet av bl.a deras CD Maxi-singlar hemma. Låtar som ”We Come 1”, ”God is a DJ” och ”Insomnia” är odödliga skapelser. 
I den här mixen gick valet dock till "Tarantula", remixad av Hiver & Hammer. Jag ville - likt klubbarna när vi var ute och krökade i våra yngre dagar - avsluta med ett mer underground-inspirerat sound, som svävar mer mot trance.
Sen får en av mina stora idoler avsluta det hela, Pierre Jerksten, här under artistnamnet Savastano med låten "Coppertone" som var utfyllnad på CD Maxin "Move Your Body", men även inkluderad på samlingen Destination Goa 5.
