On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, "Signs" was the last episode of Ted Lasso for Shandy (we hope) and Zava (we wonder). We saw a lot of plot points coming, but not Zava's retirement. Next: S3 E6, "Sunflowers."

Then, we jumped right in to season 2 of Brothers and Sisters with "Home Front." It had a little bit of everything we expect from the Walkers: Public arguments, sharing TMI about one's sex life with one's siblings, and a birthday party turned tragic. Next: S2 E2, "An American Family."

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we caught up with two episodes of Ted Lasso. Like their predecessors this season, they were long and fairly free of plot, although there were some nice moments. Next: S3 E9, “La Locker Room Aux Folles.”

On Brothers and Sisters, most everyone is still miserable, except Kitty, who successfully swats away a threat from Robert's ex-wife, and Scotty, who scores himself some legal advice in exchange for a gourmet dinner for Kevin. Next: S2 E4, "State of the Unions."

What We’re Watching: Ted Lasso S3 E7 and E8 and Brothers and Sisters S2 E3

On this week's entertainment- themed episode, a delightful episode of Ted Lasso featured many character breakthroughs and lovely scenes, plus the return of Phoebe! What We’re Watching: Ted Lasso “International Break” and Brothers and Sisters “Domestic Issues”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, Ted Lasso approaches the end of season 3 (and possibly the entire series) with an episode that could alternatively be titled "Parents: They'll Mess You Up." What We’re Watching: Ted Lasso “Mom City” and Brothers and Sisters “Two Places”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we said "so long" to Ted Lasso and Ted Lasso after three seasons. While not everyone liked this finale (ahem, https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-recaps/ted-lasso-season-3-finale-recap-bad-season-jason-sudeikis-brett-goldstein-1234744458/), we thought it had many beautiful, funny, and touching moments, and we'll miss these characters a lot. On Brothers and Sisters, the Walker family takes on a DIY detox for Justin, which apparently works? They'll neve shake their need to spill each other's secrets, though. Next: S2 E8, “Something New.” And something new for us too: Primo, on Amazon Freevee (free with ads even if you don't have Amazon Prime). It’s a “coming-of-age comedy” about a teen in Texas being raised by his mom and her five brothers. We'll watch S1 E1, "Big Eyes," and S1 E2. "The Cookout."

What We’re Watching: Ted Lasso “So Long, Farewell” and Brothers and Sisters “36 Hours”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we found that Primo deserves all the paise it's been getting, and we're looking forward to watching the rest of season 1. Next: S1 E3, "The Ride Home," and E4, "The Game Champ."

On Brothers and Sisters, we can't say we're looking forward to the many episodes to come, exactly, but at least this one bought the A-list guest stars. Next: S2 E9, "Holy Matrimony!"

What We’re Watching: Primo “Big Eyes” and “The Cookout” and Brothers and Sisters “Something New”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, Primo continues to delight with its lived-in family situations, charming characters, and funny jokes. Next: S1 E5, "The Carnival," and E6, "The Candy Bar."

Brothers and Sisters' Walker clan also has plenty of family situations, but they're more outlandish than lived-in, and a precious few characters are charming. Nevertheless, we persist, and move on to S2 E10, “The Feast of Epiphany.”

What We’re Watching: Primo “The Ride Home” and “The Game Champ” and Brothers and Sisters “Holy Matrimony!”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we're still charmed by Primo (performances, relationships, plots―all of it!) and already sad about the fact that there are only two episodes left in this season: E7, "The Recruitment Fair," and E8, "What?"

It's status quo, too, on Brothers and Sisters, as a family dinner turns into a litany of secrets revealed in front of an unsuspecting potential romantic partner. These people will never learn. Next: S2 E11, "The Missionary Imposition" (groan).

What We’re Watching: Primo “The Carnival” and “The Candy Bar” and Brothers and Sisters “Feast of Epiphany”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, Primo's first season (of many, we hope!) comes to an end with two sweet love stories and plenty of silly uncle shenanigans.

Of course, there are always shenanigans with the Walker family on Brothers and Sisters, and this episode is no exception (although at least Nora had the sense to go on a date without her family in tow). Next: S2 E12, "Compromises." We'll also watch the movie https://www.imdb.com/title/tt18079362/, given that it stars actors from two of our long-term watches: Sally Field and Rita Moreno.

Brothers & Sisters Feat. Vanesa Klein (Chris Daniel Remix)

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we followed Sally Field from Pasadena to Boston and watched the movie 80 for Brady (also starring Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin). It's pure cameo-filled fantasy, but also a lot of fun.

As usual, Brothers and Sisters was less fun, but both Sarah and Kevin did seem to get a win so we'll take it. Next up, S2 E13, "Separation Anxiety." We'll also get into season 2 of https://www.parentingroundaboutpodcast.com/blog/what-were-watching-bridgerton-the-viscount-who-loved-me-and-the-afterparty-maggie with the first two episodes (dropping July 12), "Aniq 2: The Sequel" and "Grace."
