As he prepares for a new album in 2024, Gallo teases us with his ‘Hidden Inside EP’ on Hell Yeah. This new outing comes not long after his Tropical Hinterhof Remix of Calm's sublime 'I Love You'.

At the vanguard of the nu-breed Balearic movement, Gallo is a mainstay. Part of the Balearic Gabba Sound System crew, and Buena Onda resident, he has an uplifting sound that has come out mostly on Hell Yeah but has also had music selected for compilations that include Cafe del Mar and Colleen’ Cosmo’ Murphy's Balearic Breakfast. The Berlin-based artist is currently working on his debut long player but first shares with the world these four enchanting cuts. 

'Life on Preset' is a gorgeous downbeat groove embellished with majestic keys that twinkle while gentle chords melt the heart. 'The Last Bud (Beat mix)' slows down further with dusty trip-hop breaks overlaid with pulsing synths to have you gazing off into the distance, lost in a hazy late-night reverie.  Here Gallo showcases his mastery of dreamy, ambient synth work as he suspends you amongst heavenly rays of light and bright white fluffy clouds on 'Hidden Inside'.  Closing down the EP the hazy lazy piano house grooves of 'That Moment' conveys feelings of pure blissed out joy and peacefulness.

Hell Yeah mainstay Verdo returns with another trio of big tunes for lovers of chord-laced cosmic house cruisers.

Senigallia’s finest Verdo has released several standout EPs on this label over the last decade, but this is his first since 2020. The Adriatic legend has long been a resident at the cult Gratis Club in his native port town and this new offering is a little taste of what to expect from his forthcoming debut artist album which is due in Spring/Summer 2025.

The title track 'Let in the Light' has everything a grown-up dance floor needs to get down - dazzling cosmic arps layered over blissed-out piano chords. Vocoder vocals add a future-retro feel as lush synths fill the airwaves with sugary goodness and the house drums bump along next to soft acid motifs. There is a little more late-night energy to 'Our Love Come Back' with its snappy drums and snares driving onwards beneath pixelated pads that have you gazing off to the stars. Add in an underlapping bassline that never quits and it's impossible not to be entranced by the groove. A dub version tweaks the tune into a deep and dubbed-out disco chugger that's on a constant upward trajectory while forlorn vocoder vocals tug at the heartstrings.

On this evidence, Verdo's debut album can't come soon enough.

Michele Mininni's debut album Pop Archetypes continues to serve up gold for a new Gallo remix on Hell Yeah following Keita Sano's take on 'Urban Voodoo'.

This new release features the original single 'Carousel Of Tears' which is a shimmering, immersive soundscape with dreamy pads and the most subtle of rhythms. Then comes a remix from Gallo. His Tropical Hinterhof mix is a nine-minute synth odyssey that will work as well by a crackling fire as it will a gorgeous sunset.
