In this episode, Grey, Henry, Conner, and Naomi discuss the controversial nature of the new product taking the internet by storm: Lunchly. Which is co-founded by the famous influencers Jimmy Donaldson (otherwise known as Mr. Beast), Olajide Olatunji (or KSI), and Logan Paul. First launched on September 16, 2024, Lunchly made waves through its claim that it is designed as a healthier alternative to current packaged food items—most comparatively, Lunchables. As a result of such claims and the vast wealth of misinformation on the internet, we strive to provide a data backed analysis of Lunchy in terms of its target audience, ingredient composition when compared to other packaged lunches, and nutritional facts versus the USDA guidelines for acceptable student lunches.
