Tekdiffeye @ Earth Frequency Festival 2021

Looking through some old hard drives I discovered a collection of some of the earliest Merkaba songs that never saw the light of a release.

Back then my production was evolving swiftly so that when I put together my first EP for Zenon in 2010, The Thirteenth Step, all the tunes that came before that seemed redundant to me.
Sometimes as an artist when we have a large amount of time away from our early works and we re-discover them again and we are able to listen with fresh ears and with less self judgement.

Listening to these tunes again I can feel the pure joy, excitement and experimentation I was striving for as I birthed the Merkaba sound.

If you were on the dance floors of an Aussie Bush Doof around 2008-2011, you might remember this magical time.

I finally got my shot at closing The Space Cowboys!
Last man standing at 7 am on the Sunday at AfrikaBurn. 
- Special shoutout to Steph for being with me the whole time. You're a legend bru. 

Straight into the music. 
Spending seven months in Australia in 2024 gave me a world of inspiration. 
- Spending time with their people, learning their culture, listening to their absolutely fucking spanking music.
- This is the culmination of what I heard.

The Universal Tribe Records series kicks off with INVERTED WORLD featuring this fresh, "Expressions" Live Set with a wide range of his releases, from older tracks to the most recent releases, recorded especially for this Universal Tribe series on radiOzora. Lucas Magalhães is the Brazilian behind the Inverted World project. A native of Minas Gerais and a lover of psychedelic music, he presents in his productions a deep and introspective musical education, bringing to his sound influences from different musical genres, combined with percussion, tribal elements and organic atmospheres, which refer to the power of nature and the jungle, bringing a peculiar style that moves masterfully between Bush Prog and Dark Prog, with strong Zenonesque characteristics.
