The co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin, has revealed that he is actively involved in AI projects at Google, stating he engages with them nearly every day. During a recent interview, he expressed his excitement about AI advancements and his commitment to the field. Brin also noted that improvements in algorithms may outpace the increase in computing capabilities.

CAIS claims their AI forecaster "FiveThirtyNine" beats human experts at predicting future events. The Center for AI Safety has developed an AI forecasting system called FiveThirtyNine, which they claim surpasses human forecasters in accuracy. In tests on the Metaculus platform, it achieved an impressive accuracy rate of eighty-seven point seven percent, just edging out human forecasters, who scored eighty-seven percent. FiveThirtyNine is now seen as a significant step forward in leveraging AI for predictions in various fields, though it still faces challenges regarding recent data.
