A figure who seeks to make his way in the field of alternative and independent music is the singer-songwriter Luis Maum. This musician of Mexican nationality has been enriched by the cultural background of his native country, which has led him to compose songs in different languages and musical genres. His soft rock-influenced melodies and reflective words provide listeners with a powerful, yet moving experience.

By breaking rules and pushing boundaries, Maum's music is unique as it spans different musical genres. He is distinguished from his contemporaries by his ability to subtly incorporate aspects of rock, new wave, jazz, bossa nova and electronic music into his style.
