Biggup to Wavey Garms for letting me have the chance to relive some of my favourite years in the underground D&B scene on this mix. dbridge and the autonomic sound was just the beginning of the progressive minimal sound in drum and bass- you can find many more examples of this deep, dark, soulful, heavy music here. Love to Darren and all the other producers that are featured. Special shout to Spectrasoul who took to the next level. These frequencies are engraved in my heart and shaped me as a person.

Ryck from Berne, Switzerland plays different styles of D&B Jungle since '97, co-hosted the monthly D&B radioshow "RaBass 95.6 FM" from 2005 to 2018, co-launched the monthly https://soundcloud.com/bern-bass-podcast -series of episodes in 2014 and co-promoted the Liquid Session D&B-Eventseries at Dachstock Reitschule Berne until its demise in 2024. After co-releasing tracks with Konfront.Audio and FD on Soul Deep and Sunandbass Recordings, he launched the now dormant label https://bernbassrecords.bandcamp.com in 2020 that so far had three Bandcamp-only releases featuring Swiss artists exclusively. 
After playing at major events and venues all over Switzerland such as Mute, Bierhübeli or Rohstofflager, with highlights such as going b2b with LTJ Bukem in Basel or being featured in a Swiss D&B documentary, today Ryck is a regular DJ at DARKSIDE Berne, HOTBOX Zürich and VIVID Basel.
