Had the absolute pleasure and honour to open up the Psytrance portion of the night for a very good friend's 30th birthday at his Selabration called Thirtopia.

The set of earthy, psychedelic and euphoric sounds aims to provide a balance of chunky, fun and bouncy baselines with uplifting melodies. 

Progressive Psytrance is a new genre I'm exploring and I am falling more and more in love with it as I explore different artists that produce the sound and vibe I'm captivated by. I hope you enjoy this as much as I loved sharing it with my friends.

Starting mid-2023, and recently founding the Psynapse Collective, EckyTek/Shijoni (she-yon-ee, meaning enjoy in Albanian) has started to make a name for himself in the Melbourne electronic scene. 

EckyTek brings hard hitting, chunky and bouncy Psytech, Peak Techno and Psytrance perfect for the festival stage. His sets will take you on a psychedelic sonic journey, with the aim of delivering hypnotic rhythms and uplifting euphoric melodies. 

Having already supported some heavyweights in the game such as Alex Stein, Nikki Sig, Unknown Concept, Tom Baker, HandsDown, Digital Swamp, Migdalor and Eukai, and supporting events with Eat The Beat, as well as performing at established venues such as New Guernica and 24 Moons, along with appearances on the bush doof scene, he has been blessed to be a part of the amazing Melbourne scene.


Shijoni curates his own sound fusing Prog House, Melodic techno and Downtempo Trance to deliver an eclectic experience. With a passion for high energy blends and transitions, bringing a balance of underground and commercial into the one space that allows the flow and vibe of the sound to direct the musical journey he takes you on. You’ll have your hands in the air, eyes to the sky, head bumping and feeling elated with each performance.

Captain Hook is one of the top DJs, musicians and producers on the Psychedelic Trance (Psytrance) & Progressive Trance scene. Traveling a diverse musical path, Reshef Harari always achieved success guided by the frequencies. From the early days of DJing with vinyls, through the successful collaborative project Quantize, the visit to Techno-land as Sheff with releases at top labels, and finally as Captain Hook, with which he took over the world by storm. Following his heart and sonic manipulations he keeps innovating and never stagnating. With two top selling albums at Iboga Records, countless single and compilation releases and collaborating with the best electronic music producers, Captain Hook has been playing in every conceivable festival, party and venue all around the globe.

He is a protégé of the Neuroshocked crew. He debuted in 2003 at the legendary club Neuron and was a resident DJ at Crossed.
For two decades, Chad de Smol, Czad, and adzi'nok have been treating dancers to sets ranging from techno to hardcore.
A volcano of energy both in life and behind the decks, he skillfully mixes musical styles and often steps outside the proverbial 'box.'
In 2019, he launched the project The Underground, aimed at promoting the Polish electronic music scene.
He is also a co-founder of the new project Black Wax, which focuses on promoting the art of vinyl mixing.

2025 its time for a new beginning. I produce offbeat/progressive psytrance, psytrance, techno, hard techno, hard trance, trance, hardcore and some between it. My old pseudos Brain Vibration, Technohm, True Raver, Peace Destroyer & more become now only the one name. My bpm range is between Downtempo (110bpm) and Hardcore (180bpm). The dj projects still stay by theyr old names but you can choose Athanasios as liveact in the future, playing all my productions, if you like to travel on a magical journey between those music styles from soft to hard and from slow to fast or like it fits your event. My personal musical journey started in the 90‘s in Hamburg and now my homebase is Berlin!
