I think I am unconsciously influenced by almost everything i have ever heard. I don’t have genre in mind when I create, I just go with it, expand it from whatever seed i start with.

That seed can be anything,: a bass line; a beat,; a phrase; a concept; something I saw; something I heard.

I wish I could sing, or at least had a voice that didn’t crack and break constantly, but i can’t sing and I do have such a voice. And yet I want my words to be out there, and so i do what I can.

I have started to use an AI voice plugin to add a second voice to my tracks. Its not ideal, but its what I have.

I’m currently slightly obsessed with using a plugin that emulates an Oberheim SEM, through a distortion effect to get a buzzy bass. I think this is a long term trend in my music as ive just ordered a  2-XM which is basically two SEMs.

I’m always excited to see (or more correctly hear) whats out there, and I expect everything that is will still further influence what I create myself
